Went in tonight for national ice cream day. Every ice cream flavor was half way melted. When the scoops were put on the slab, (one scoop at a time back and forth from the ice cream to the slab…) it got all over and did not look like scoops because of how melted it was. The slab was filthy and I got residue of other ice cream on the one I received. Employees were not welcoming, and just lacked in customer service overall. I'm a big guy, and ice cream can absolutely be my kryptonite. Marble Slab is the legitimate holder of it. Sweet cream and gummy bears almost takes me back - it's my typical, go-to order. This one has the typically great ice cream, but the times I've gone in the staff has never been more than decent, in attitude.
Michelle was fantastic! She let my daughter try multiple flavours to find her favourite. She actually spoke to my three year old and let her make her ice cream choices which made my whole day. She even grabbed us extra toppings when she noticed that my kid was just eating the gummy bears out of her ice cream. Before we left she even gave my child some marshmallows and one more taste of ice cream bc my daughter asked so nicely for chocolate. Great ice cream and even greater service....
