If I could give less than one star, I would. We visited this establishment about two weeks ago and had a great experience, which is why we decided to return tonight. Unfortunately, after the experience we had this evening, we will not be back.
We were seated right away but waited over 10 minutes before anyone came to our table. My wife eventually had to ask someone if we could get a server. Our first waitress took our drink order and an appetizer but informed us shortly after that she was leaving her shift. She did kindly bring out our appetizer when she saw it in the window, but our new waitress still had not brought our drinks. We finished the entire appetizer without receiving any drinks—even the teas.
When the new waitress came to clear the plates, I asked about my bar drink, which had apparently been forgotten. When it was finally brought out, it was obvious it had been sitting for a while, as the salt on the rim had melted and was dripping down the glass. I had ordered the drink not spicy, but it was clearly spicy, so I asked for it to be remade. The waitress said she hadn’t been informed it wasn’t supposed to be spicy and eventually brought a replacement that was made correctly.
At the end of the meal, when we received the check, we were charged for both drinks. When I pointed this out, the server said it was because I had “drank half of it,” which was not the case. The ticket itself even showed one drink as regular and one as not spicy. I asked to speak with the manager but was told the manager was “too busy.”
This level of service and lack of professionalism was extremely disappointing. I will be calling to make a formal complaint

Usually we have a good experience, but this last visit was atrocious. We waited 25 minutes and had to go get the hostess twice to try and get someone to even acknowledge we were sitting at a table. Then the food portion wasn't worth the price at all. Just unfortunate since we used to love coming here.

Have been there many times and my best experiences have been during lunchtime when it's a little quieter. Always a good variety of new dishes to try. This time we had the pork belly bites and fish tacos. Both were outstanding. Our waitress was awesome. Friendly, helpful and attentive.

Literally arrived at 7:35 and just wanted to order a to go for nachos and fries and the hostess said kitchen closes at 8 and it was not even 8. Wish they had better customer service. I don’t see why an appetizer couldn’t be cooked within that timeframe.

Heard a lot about this place and it always seemed packed when we drove by so decided to try it out. We wanted to grab some dinner and listen to live music. Oh man were we disappointed, when we walked we realized it was bingo night. Kinda bummed, but ok. We ordered drinks and then we heard it. The guy running bingo loved hearing himself. So loud you couldn’t even hear the server attempting to take our order. It was obnoxiously loud. As we looked around we notice about 6 people playing bingo but the guy was loud enough to hear for block. And it over it was dead in there.
Can’t comment on food because we couldn’t tolerate the loud obnoxious guy screaming on the mic so we left.
Building looked cool. Atmosphere could have been cool.
What has happened to downtown Conroe. 3 monkeys ago everyone had live music on weekend and now that’s seems to be disappearing.

The shrimp and grits at Pacific Yard House were standout, pairing well with homemade pretzels and beer cheese. The rustic atmosphere set a relaxed tone, and service met the expectations for a Sunday evening. Overall, a solid, dependable dinner spot.

It’s so nice to have a good restaurant at the On the Lake RV Resort! My husband had the country fried steak and fried okra. I enjoyed an Old Fashion…perfectly made. I ordered the shrimp & grits per other reviews. It was so flavorful. The only thing I would’ve liked would have been a slice of warm sourdough to sop up all that creamy sauce! We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal & would highly recommend. Our server, Jordyn, was great—friendly and attentive.
This place is okay just okay. The food is good. I had catfish and shrimp. The atmosphere is pleasant the only thing I could of,would say that's bad is . Till me I'm black without tilling me I'm black. The stand off, the looks, the passive aggressiveness.

I have gone to Pacific Yard House 4 times in my life. I was really unimpressed the first time due to unfriendliness and tension between customers and the employees but decided to give it another shot. I was greeted by this really sweet girl at the host stand the 2nd and 3rd time i was there. She was so sweet and informative every time i came. She answered the phone when i had to ask if they had a table for 11 last minute and showed no attitude or disrespect. She is the only reason i even showed up the 3rd time. I was always greeted with a smile and respect that i had never received at this establishment. Sadly the 4th time i went, i was told she was fired and im really disappointed in this establishment for allowing such a good employee to be cut. I don’t remember the hosts name, i think it was Abigail or something along the lines of that, but she truly was an outstanding employee. Y’all really messed up letting her go and have lost a customer because of that.

We went last night for dinner and sat at the bar. Doran was our bartender and he was super friendly and helpful with beer and food choices! He took great care of everyone at the bar! We would definitely go again but we will order something different because the chicken on my salad was way overcooked and my husband's Drunken tacos were just ok. Had great company at the bar though and Doran was just the BEST!
