Got a single slice to-go from Russo’s in Conroe with chicken, tomatoes, olives, and mushrooms. The cheese had good flavor, but the slice seemed underbaked. Toppings were mostly bunched in the middle, the cheese wasn’t fully melted, and the mushrooms/tomatoes still felt raw. It lacked balance and cohesion. I ended up removing the toppings and eating the slice plain — and honestly, it was better that way. Not terrible, but not what I expected. Decent ingredients, just not...
Salads are very good. If you order a slice of pizza, make sure you ask them to get it really hot. Last 2 times, the cheese wasn't melted and the pepperoni was just warm. Atmosphere is great and staff is very friendly.
(Updated review) The owner reached out and personally invited us back. So we decided to give it a try again. We actually got to taste the food this time 😆. So lets start with the food. The appetizers were yummy. We got the garlic knots (probably my favorite thing was the garlic knots, hot and fresh!) Buffalo wings, and the cheese sticks. All three was very good!
