We ordered the Chicken Gorditas & Barbacoa Plate as well as two horchata drinks. We were not happy with the barbacoa playe, portion was small and the consomé was lacking flavor. Chicken gorditas were good I would order these again. They did have to salsas but they had ABSOLUTELY NO FLAVOR! It was pricey for the portion size. And lastly the horchata was NOT GOOD at all, it tasted like fake powder horchata. We would not com back .
We stopped by this place bc my husband was craving pozole after a night out! The best hangover soup!! He got pozole and I got the birria soup. Food was hot, fresh and SO flavorful. Service was heartfelt and friendly. Atmosphere isn't fancy but is authentic and if you know ACTUAL amazing Mexican food, it's about the food and the heart behind it...so don't let the "atmosphere" throw you. Always delicious food and friendly faces. I don't think I've ever eatin anything here I didn't love. The food is reasonably priced. Try the Birria tacos they are to die for!
