I had a very bad experience not just with the food but also the way the person answering the call handled the feedback when I called to let hom know about the SALTY FOOD. We were on our way driving for the vacation and picked up some food. First, it took a while to deliver the food (biryan, sambar rice, curd rice, samosa). Didnt complain about it. Few min later on the drive when we had the food, it was un-edible as the sambar rice and curd rice were way too salty. So discarded and call the restaurant to let them know about the food. The person who answered said he would check and call. Tried calling later as i didnt get the call back. The guy now told me that he no one else complained and he too tried and it was good, implying I was lying. If I were lying, i could complain about the expensive item biryani or all items. I takeout food at multiple locations every week and didnt call once to complain about the food. All i was expecting is a simple apology and ensure otgers dont get the same food. But he implied i was calling for a refund. This is the worst way to handle a customer complaint. Though long, wanted to post this so that at least one other person can avoid this embarassment. Would never step into Chowrasta again for life!!!

Two main issues.

1. Toilet smell is coming to dining area.
2. In the toilet sign says wash hands after toilet use with out hand soap.

Not sure how the food hygiene will be in the kitchen.

When it first opened, this restaurant was decent, but things have clearly declined over time. My recent experiences was quite disappointing. Upon entering, we were hit with a strong, unpleasant odor, reminiscent of a crowded public restroom. The food remains passable, but the cleanliness and hygiene urgently need improvement.

The staff was helpful. They help us in ordering. Chai was good too. I took chicken patties, biriyani and flew to the other part of country.

Stopped by Chowrastha for brunch, and it totally hit the spot. The dosa was golden and crisp, the puri shaak tasted like something straight from home, and the Irani chai tied it all together with that cozy café warmth. No fuss, no fake flavor—just honest, feel-good food that makes you want to linger a little longer.

Today, I tried two varieties of Mandi — Juicy and Fried Chicken — and both were absolutely delightful. A big thank you to Shashank for preparing such an authentic and flavorful Mandi. Ramya was also wonderfully courteous, greeting every customer with a warm smile. Please continue maintaining the same excellent quality and positive energy!

Really good food and very cheap! Their Aloo Tikki Chaat is the best I have had! Their chili eggs are a nice snack appetizer

We recently ordered catering from this restaurant, and the food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Our guests especially loved the minapa gaarelu, poornam, vijayawada Kaaju paneer biryani, vja chicken biryani, roti pachadi and all the other items.
Service is good and on time delivered.
