Sad to write this review as this used to be our favorite donut shop, just walking distance from us. We have taken our girls since they were of walking age. We would go every Saturday morning.
Unfortunately, in the last couple of months my family has experienced discrimination from both the owner and her staff. They are hesitant serving us, not sure if it’s due to us being mixed Latino/south Asian. When we come in they purposely skip over us, and kindness and respect is not shown. This is not a single incident, this has happened 6 or 7 times in a row.
I hope no other person in the community is experiencing this type of mistreatment, as Coppell is a very close knit community, honoring respect and fair treatment of it’s residents .
Wish this store the best, however we will be taking our business to the donut store across from CVS on MacArthur/Sandy Lake, driving distance now but no discrimination.
Alicia here is awesome! The 4 stars are for her and the one star deduction is for the owner lady. Alicia is careful to get the order right, is cheerful, polite and greets guests, and is always happy to quickly whip up our order if they don’t have enough. The owner (?) lady isn’t as nice, is hard to communicate with, and doesn’t really seem to care if she gets the order right and doesn’t feel the need to explain or be nice if they have run out of what you’re ordering. My kids like the donuts here, so we will return, but wish the owner was a little nicer. And of course - we are always happy to see Alicia at the counter.
I’m not one to leave a bad review but I feel like I need to say this. Went there so happy to find a place like that near me. Went in the customer service is very poor she was very mean and rude when I asked if the sausage rolles had pork. This is my first time and last for sure.
Used to like this place but has gone down hill. the customer service is poor recently they made a mistake on my order and even when I wanted to pay to correct the mistake they made a big deal about it. Not going back.

Poor customer service. Make mistake on our order and the. When we asked to pay for more donuts they won’t allow us too. Long story but our missed donuts don’t reach the cc minimum. We had no cash. Long time customer. Not anymore.

I usually carry cash on me. When I went there, I had my credit card. The minimum was five dollars only was getting two donuts. I had to go back to my car twice to pay in cash because credit card minimum. I definitely understand they want people to go over five dollar. But sometimes people do not wanna buy extra. Also they use Square which does not require any minimum to use credit card. I use Square business on my place to. Long story short if you go out there, please carry cash if you are buying anything under five bucks.

I visited Donut Palace on two separate occasions. The first time was alright, but the second time, which is now my last time, was not so good. They required a minimum of five dollars to use my card—who even carries one-dollar bills anymore? The donuts were okay, I'd give them three out of five for quality. What really ruined my experience was the chocolate milk, which cost $3.50 and tasted expired. It was horrible and ruined my whole experience. On the positive side, the store was clean, the donuts were cheap, and the staff was decent. Overall, I'd give it three out of ten. This is just my personal opinion, so don't take it too seriously, but it might not discourage you from coming here.

Make sure if you send your child into this establishment alone, the money given is reflected in the change returned. A lady who supported this establishment for 2 years, recently was made out to be a liar regarding her daughter not receiving the correct change back from a purchase. They even went as far as reviewing surveillance footage with customers waiting, only to amplify the situation further adding insult to her grievance.?Making a dollar shouldn't be more important than having some knowledge for the individuals, that make your business even possible to exist. A correction for the previous amount given her daughter, and an apology would have been more professional!????
