Was visiting from out of town and happened upon this jewel. Everything about our experience was outstanding. I had the fish and chips and the fish was cooked to perfection. Our server was polite, prompt and very accommodating! I would love to see a location in Mobile, Al!

I recently visited J. Macklin’s Grill for brunch and had a wonderful experience! The atmosphere is casual but elevated - great for catching up with friends or a low-key date.

We ordered the chicken fried steak and the fish and chips. My friend said it was the best fish and chips he’s had in the DFW area, and the house-made tartar sauce was a standout! We ended the meal with the apple cobbler and ice cream, which I highly recommend.

A huge thank you to our server, John, who provided excellent service and made the experience even better. Also, you can't beat $16 mimosa carafes. They have specials nearly every day. We will definitely be back!
