Best, chorizo & potatoes, also like the chorizo & beans. I put both in their fresh made flour tortillas then add cheese 👍❤️. Makes a flavor packed breakfast taco. I only wish it was served all day.

I went for breakfast while I was visiting a buddy in DFW. I was on a soft food diet following gum surgery. So I got a scrambled egg bowl with refried beans and potatoes and cheese on top. I used to take my kids to roses frequently when they were little. You know, for divorced dad's dinner with the kids on Wednesday night! Anyway, turns out Rosa's is not a bad place to grab a bite of breakfast. It's clearly not a fancy brunch place, but the scrambled egg bowl was good (if a bit pedestrian), well priced, and the place was almost empty, as in no crowds or waiting line.

As a side note I asked if the refried beans had meat in them because meet was forbidden on my soft diet. The first day the woman told me yes so I passed on the beans. The next day, after a little conversation, I discovered that the beans don't actually have meat in them. But they are prepared with lard. So the issue was religious or cultural restrictions on the consumption of beef and or pork. The woman I talked to the second day was a little more articulate than the woman on the first day. So anyway, just a heads up, the refried beans are made with lard of some kind.

Not as good as they used to be. The chicken enchiladas were so dry and flavorless I had to buy a cup of queso to pour on top, became there was no sauce at all on them.
