This is far and away the best sushi I’ve tried in Corpus Christi! Everything was fresh, delicious and meticulously prepared. Highly recommend this place and we’ll be back soon.

A great find ! We absolutely love the vegan options here. The Veggie roll and the Avocado roll were fresh and tasty. The atmosphere was clean and cozy with an option of private dining spaces. The service was prompt and friendly and we are definitely coming back here.

The sushi is good, but the hibachi is absolutely terrible. There was 0 flavor and everything was so over cooked. Very

Full time traveler here (@whatrvdoing). If you are trying to choose between here or Takeniwa, choose KOI. Then go see my review on Takeniwa. The food and service was pretty chill. We enjoyed our time. Was it the best Hibachi we have ever had on the road, no, however it was light years better than the other option in town, Takeniwa.

My family has had a LOT of hibachi in our time from all over the country, but we have never had any so bad as this. Had the pan fried gyoza and that was the best thing, except it came with what I believe was Tabasco sauce as the dip. Also had garlic edamame and I don't know how you mess that up but the garlic was STUCK on and you couldn't help but get it stuck in your teeth. Ok. We each had the Miso Soup. It was, literally, consommé. Like straight up out of the can consommé. The people at the table across from us were drinking it but we knew better. Gross. That's an ingredient, not a dish. Son and I had the chicken and shrimp hibachi. We keep looking at each other while we watched the shrimp die a slow, painful death. Meanwhile, husband had the chicken and steak and the steak was rare. Go figure. The chicken...just quite inedible it was so over cooked. The rice had a strange hint of something chemically I couldn't put my finger on. First and last time there unfortunately. The chef was nice enough and tried to put on somewhat of a show for our grandson but it too was just meh. I am something of a self proclaimed food critic and I know I am harsh but, my son also couldn't believe just how bad it was. Such a shame this town has no good hibachi.
