Bought a asada and lettuce only torta and a cheese enchilada plate. They got the order wrong gave me beef enchiladas and put sour cream on the torta. My girlfriend gets sick when she eats sour cream then when I called to complain the manager hung up on me ? VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and their food is mediocre at best. AVOID THIS PLACE

Ayala’s is a hidden gem. Comfortable and casual...the specialty is great tasting food at cheap prices. I don’t know what I like more...the Chorizo and Eggs or the Chalupas or the cheese enchiladas or the bean and cheese nachos. The hot sauce is the stuff legends are made of. I can’t say enough good things about the place.

Oh my gosh i'm in love with this place, large fried eggs with fried beans and small potatoes just how I like them and hand made tortillas fresh coffee and only $2.99 with out the coffee but well worth every penny of it most certainly I'm patronizing this place a lot more often.

Ok, Solis "moved" down street to new location and new owners came in and gave it a much needed face lift. Good new is the kitchen remained and the new owners know what they are doing. Menu is usual fair but the cheese enchiladas ; well IMHO best in Corpus. I am not sure why but the combo of creamy goodness and gravy just makes them a must with every meal. The meat one are good but the cheeee is heaven and I go at least once a month for my fix when we are in town from Port A. Best combo; two cheese and a crunchy beef taco. Still like Solis but think these guys do better job and little less $.
