“I went in on Friday, at the last minute, and ordered a birthday cake for the next morning at 10:15 AM. I knew it was short notice and I told them if they couldn’t prepare one for that time , or in such short notice , that it was fine I would understand. Quite the contrary, though, they were more than agreeable, The man I was working with was very nice, I believe Joe was his name. I think I met Yolanda ,the owner , and she was extremely nice and all were willing to.meet my deadlines. I went in yesterday, Saturday morning, and the cake was ready for me to go. Such a nice group of people to work with. The cake was beautiful, Decorated so nicely, and it was so moist, and everybody that tasted some. Of it was very impressed as well. I will definitely buy from Yolanda’s Specialty cakes from now on. It is nice to be greeted by friendly people willing to provide a good service to the public, and do it with a smile , at such good and reasonable prices, and especially accommodate You at the last minute . I have shopped at other bakeries in town that have totally made my shopping experience a nightmare, and have lost orders for cakes, and I’ve paid in advance and went to pick the cake up, and the cake was not even there, and they didn’t know what happened to it, but Yolanda’s was right on the mark, they knew exactly who I was, they knew what cake I ordered and when, and they were there and happy to be of service. Such a great positive experience!“

“I just want to say I'm extremely impressed with this company and owner. There was a slight mix up on our delivery date and cookies were delivered a week early. Pam was amazing at reaching out and offering to correct it so we could still surprise our mom with a little something on her birthday. 10/10 recommend and we will definitely be ordering again! Her cookies are amazing btw!“

“They did an amazing job making a cake for my dog! Pre-ordering was easy, and so was pick-up. The cake was beyond cute and smelled so good my pug went crazy for it and absolutely loved it. It was super soft, not like the typical hard dog treats.“

“Kouign aman was the best I've ever tasted. Lemon merenge tarts were fabulous! Light flaky crust with filling that was just the right amount of tartness. And oh the big round bread...was it sourdough?“
“This "panaderia", as it is called in Spanish, is one of the " old school" of it's kind. It has long been called a place to have a good cup of Joe, and biscuits, or an empanada. My sister still loves the " Wedding Cookies" ,and I have to admit, the are quite tasty! So if you're looking to have a bit of old school ,or a even a bit of new school, be sure to shop on by, it's on 19 the St. , by Agnes.“

They were all DIVINE but I would have to say the strawberry cupcakes were the most delicious strawberry cakes I have ever had (and trust me my dad was a strawberry cake connoisseur 😉 and he would've loved them!) thank you for being a part of our day!!“

She was extremely kind, approachable, and willing to help—something that really stood out, especially compared to past visits where I didn’t feel as welcomed by other staff. It’s refreshing to be assisted by someone who genuinely cares about customer service. Mary Joe or Mary Lou- not sure what her name is but i will only go when CJ is there. “As a Golden girl, I love a good cheesecake! Cute place, but I felt like the cheesecake was a bit heavy and dry. I like mine more fluffy and creamy.I wouldn't write it off though because maybe I just got a bad piece. I had the pecan praline one. Maybe I should've stuck with the original first.“
“Mary did a fabulous job with our wedding cake!! From the beginning, Mary was very responsive, thorough, and professional. We ordered a beach themed cake and she definitely delivered what we asked for! Everyone enjoyed it and we ate it all up no problem at all! Very delicious and aesthetically pleasing to look at. Would highly recommend Mary for your wedding cake in the Port Aransas/Corpus Christi area!!“

“Dined in for my birthday- I tried the cinnamon roll latte and not only did it taste AMAZING, it LOOKED adorable! PLUS they give every table a free beignet! If I didn’t have plans afterwards I would have gotten some pastries to go. Definitely going to go back!“
