Tried to place a phone order. “The number you are calling is not in service.” Go to place an order. Nobody at the hostess stand, nobody at the bar. I have to walk i to the kitchen to get any help!! “We are ao short staffed.” I order chicken fried rice and am told it will be 20-25 minutes. Why do I think it will be different? The last time I tried to order chicken fried rice online, got a call as I was on my way “we are out of fried rice.” Great service! Disappointing. Will not be back.

This restaurant is definitely overrated. My family and I went about 20 minutes after they opened on a Saturday. The floors were so dirty that we were slipping on our way to the table. The server was kind of arrogant on-top of that. To finish it all off, the food was very bland and the rice was mushy. it was nothing spectacular. There was absolutely no reason the restaurant should have been in the condition considering they had JUST opened. The bathrooms are a whole different story... I do not think I will be returning since there are better family-owned thai restaurants.

Amazing food! John was fantastic—he knew the menu inside and out and helped my friend and I pick the perfect dish. The chicken Pad Thai was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend! 10/10

Literally took 45 min for them just to make spring rolls. Felt like I was being pranked to see how long they could take with my food.

So I’ve been a fan of BKK over the years, but it seems to be going downhill (and quickly). Food had absolutely no flavor and there was one bartender/server the entire two hours we were there. Not attentive, mumbled, and just generally didn’t seem to care.

We had heard amazing things about this restaurant so I was sorely disappointed in the food. It is not authentic Thai so if you have been to Thailand, you will be disappointed. It was very sweet, and even the chili sauce could not cover the sweetness. On top of that, the cook (no chef) had no clue how to cut vegetables and what is the appropriate part of the vegetable to include in the dish - but to include the core of the vegetable and large uneven chunks of veggies shows that training needs to be improved upon. However, the service was excellent! The atmosphere at this location was not that of a higher star restaurant and prices. I was told afterwards that next time to try the dinner menu and curry but I’m not sure it’s worth my money.

Very expensive and small portions. The bartender was nice but made mistakes inputting our order so it took half an hour to get appetizers and the bill was wrong. There are better, more affordable thai restaurants in town.

Came here for a family gathering on a Tuesday and let me just say the appetizers were so good!! You can never go wrong on the chicken wings, spring rolls, and fried shrimp! It’s so delicious! The curry rice with chicken is a must! But the best part is the pannacota with mango passion fruit dessert!🍨 I wish they have this restaurant in Houston because I’ll definitely come back!

The food was decent but the price was a little outrageous. $27 for Pad Kee Mao with beef, $25 for Thai Basil fried rice with pork. I've had better Thai food for a lot less money in Corpus.

Ordered from this restaurant on UberEats after just moving to Corpus Christi. We ordered chicken pad thai, pineapple curry, a house salad, mango sticky rice, and a Thai iced tea. When it showed up to our door, the pineapple curry was missing. The Thai iced tea was just regular sweet tea. The salad came with no dressing. The mango sticky rice was disappointing. And the pad Thai was tossed right away. It was dry & tasted frozen. It also looked nothing like the pictures that were taken of it in the restaurant in other reviews. Very disappointed!

The food is great. The service is good and the location is perfect if you live on the southside.

It’s just hard to tell if they are open when the temporary banner that said BKK has faded and there’s no indication of a restaurant or if they are open otherwise. Perhaps a new sign is in order and a neon OPEN sign in the window would be helpful to let everyone know the place is still open.

Pics of my previous review...(I've been a couple of times, mostly good, some concerns, but nothing to keep me from returning. I ate there Friday Oct 11 for a late dinner, around 6pm or so. The hostess was nice and sat me at my table. Caitlin was my server/bartender (I hope I spelled her name right). She made me a Thai Tea that was pretty good, I had the crab salad that was absolutely amazing. Caitlin suggested a particular dish, but it had coconut in it and I'm allergic. Heather, another waitress that has waited on me a couple of times suggested the oysters, the sauce that came with it was really good and I loved the presentation on the Kings Goblet. I ordered broccoli and beef with jasmine rice to go. My overall experience was great. Customer service is a big deal to me, both Heather and Caitlin are very good at what they do, from the politeness to constant communication with their guest(s).)
