Very cute cafe in town - Huge bonus that it’s attached to a book store!I got the Strawberry Hibiscus tea and my friend got a Vanilla Chai Latte. Unfortunately I only got a bite of the Blueberry muffin due to my cinnamon allergy, but my friend enjoyed it. The cafe had that sit around and talk all day vibe which we loved. Even took a stroll through the book store next door.

Chicken salad and breakfast sandwich were great, however they only accept cash and did not notify us until after our food and drinks were prepared so we didn’t have the option to leave. They have an ATM however of course you’ll have to pay extra fees. We didn’t have our debit card on us so it added an extra thirty minutes to our outing to go back home, pull out money and pay for our meal. While we enjoyed our food, due to the inconvenience we likely won’t return.

Great place for coffee, breakfast croissant sandwiches and pastries! Also have a fantastic chicken salad! It is Cash/check only but they do have an ATM there!
Freshest bakery in town, cold slices of cake, fresh individual brownies, fresh single cookies, amazing veggie quiche! Everytime I come in it's a treat. Also amazing coffee selections, tried frozen coffee for the first time here and it was great.

Another excellent alternative to Starbucks. We were leaving Target and I had to get a latte. It was then that this place was suggested. We could have walked here but in true Texas fashion we drove from one parking lot to the parking lot near half price books which happens to be right next to Cafe Calypso. I ordered a latte and while the rest of the party waited we got cash from the ATM that just conveniently happens to be inside the coffee shop. This is because they are a CASH ONLY establishment. I really like the amount of flags that they have hanging everywhere and all the quaint posters. My latte was fine but the cup could have been either cleaned or double cupped because there was so much coffee dripping from the side. I actually really enjoyed my coffee and everyone else seemed to enjoy theirs as well. Customer service is actually quite efficient. You would get the feeling that you are in Germany. Overall, lots of different coffee options. Definitely would return if I am in Corpus again.
