Did take out. Styrofoam boxes used without lining. Hot fried food was directly placed in the box and melt through the box. Unsafe to consume some part of our food.

Shrimp - 5/5 must try with the cocktail sauce!

Went here for lunch as I'd heard good things about their seafood. The food itself wasn't necessarily bad, it just had no seasoning. Like not even salt and pepper. I had fried mushrooms and the shrimp and frog legs. Inside, the vibe was pretty dark and picnic table like, wood paneled walls. The service was good, our waitress brought our food out quickly and answered questions about the menu. The price was a bit crazy considering the lack of flavor. I've spent less on better seafood in corpus. I won't be eating here again.

Food was amazing!

We ordered the Bayou Country Feast, and it was delicious. It came with gumbo, catfish, shrimp, and oysters along with fries, beans, and coleslaw. The service was great. The ice tea is really good here, too.

I haven't been here in 35 years and it's still amazing. 5 stars all around. Just as I remember; the tartar sauce is amazing. You can put that on everything. It's great to see this place still in operation. Shout out to my waitress Bella for a great service experience, she was super friendly. Was greeted with smiles and was quickly seated. Food came out quickly and was hot. The food here is seasoned perfectly and not overboard like most places. Fresh and fried The hush puppies, are amazing. I could eat 20 of those just because they are on the table. Delicious. Thank you Catfish Charlie's for allowing me to relive a childhood memory thru your determination and commitment to great tasing food and business. Y'all have to stop by this 'Gem of the South'.

It was a quick trip and we wanted seafood. They have it there. All good. Hush puppies were served before your order. We had seafood and all good. We had gumbo that was disappointing, but I ate it. Not enough seafood, and roux color not right. Too much rice.

Old CC spot for fried seafood, the catfish was good but their fried shrimp was way better. Got a shrimp salad to-go and it was amazing the following day, I'll definitely go back if given the opportunity.

Our server was great till the end when we asked her to split up the check. She gave us a dirty look and made sure she was going to get her tip by auto tipping 18%. She didn't tell us she was doing that in hopes we would not see it and tip more. The sad part about that is she would have got much more out of us, had she been up front about the auto tip and not given us a dirty look when we asked her to spilt up the bill. Sad that one person can keep a group of people from ever returning.
