What a bustling place, a higher volume atmosphere, full house the whole time we were there !HUSHPUPPIES: a basket for the table !!! tartar and cocktail sauce were amazing be sure to use both if you’re a saucy individual and even plus it up with that Louisiana hot sauce ! {peep video for instructions}Seafood Gumbo: I’m a gumbo snob from working in a Cajun influenced restaurant so I do feel like perhaps this was more on a fish stew side so if you’re half partial to fish I don’t recommend it. I do however, recommend that Louisiana hot sauce in there ! I thought it was good and even ate my spouses.FROG LEGS: not for us ! First time trying and we just really didn’t like them and didn’t have any flavor. Same texture as rabbit almost!CATFISH: my home town is infamous for the best catfish so my opinion is shrouded in bias- I will say nice big flakey chunks!Over all we enjoyed our meal and will definitely come back to try more on the menu!Parking: Quite a big lot a few business share the same parking areas so you may have to drive thru just a bit to find somewhere ! We found a spot right away and it was a busy day!
We waited for such a long time. When we finally asked, the manager said they lost our ticket. The manager did discount our food. And that was great.My issues are: ¹ my wife was late for work and ² why didn't the waitress check up on us or our food?We Always love this place.
Great value for the amount of food. Catfish could have been better, but that is not the cook sometimes. But the catfish, shrimp, froglegs, coleslaw, beans, and huushpuppies for $19 was exceptionally good. Definitely coming back to this gem!

I go to Charlie’s for the seafood! It’s simple fried catfish and shrimp but always fresh and delicious. I think the sides of beans and coleslaw are some of the best I’ve enjoyed. My sister and son were not feeling seafood so both enjoyed the chicken fried steak with country gravy and said it was excellent. Warning, don’t fill up on the free hush puppies that are yummy too.
Super friendly staff. Sweet tea and hush puppies is the best. Gumbo Was full if bones. Shrimp and catfish would be maybe a five out of ten. Really good homemade tartar sauce. Three bills for sixty six dollars, Not bad. Overall on to the next restaurant.

We recently ate here with a large-ish group. I haven't been by here in a while, but the food was excellent (I had the Mitad y Mitad) and the service was very good.
We loved their catfish and coleslaw in the past, but for some reason, it wasn't so good this time. The hush puppies were excellent. Service was great.

Corey aka, "Mr. Clean" was amazing! He cleaned our table faster than I've ever seen before. Corey was so nice. Corey was also funny. Corey told us all kind of jokes. If you come to Catfish Charle's ask for Corey!
