The restaurant is self-serve. The menu is quite limited and the prices are more expensive than other restaurants we went to with full service. There are no refills because all drinks are in bottles. If you dont finish your food, the to-go boxes are .50 cents a piece. The woman who rang us up was polite, and the restaurant was clean. The beans were lacking and had a somewhat smoky flavor to them. The quesadilla we ordered was EXTREMELY greasy and soft. I enjoyed the mango and spices they added to the quesadilla, but the grease and texture made the plate less palatable. Overall, this is not a restaurant I would return to.

No chips or salsa..............My husband had the delicious barbacoa tacos. Avoid the crunchy beef tacos they were bland and when asked about my food by the owner I assume after giving my opinion was told they were for the gringos only.

Wasn’t expecting Mexican food this good on the island. The red salsa is so good and spicy. Only negative is I wish it was full table service and not counter serve.

First time here. Place is beautiful, some of the most authentic dishes I have tried. My husband ordered asado de puerco rojo and i had the puffy taco plate. Everything was delicious. The tortillas are homemade and very tasty. Definitely going back.

Obsessed w this place. We only come in town once a year and this is the only thing I have on my list of what I want to do (as well as many of our other family members in town with us). I look forward to it all year. On top of being so good, I also love how it looks - especially the bathroom and plates.. all about the details.

The food was so delicious. I especially liked the salsa. It was so spicy and flavorful. This is worth the stop if you are in town visiting.

Had the barbacoa breakfast (Saturday), unctuous and flavorful as it should be. Home made corn tortillas were so thick and soft and flavorful. Red sauce was the best. Looking forward to visiting Padre again just so I can come here.

First time trying this place and it DID NOT disappoint. Food was soo good. Had the carnita plate with corn tortillas. Kids had the crispy chicken tacos. Oh and there salsas where on point, spicy yet delicious!
We are definitely coming back when we make trips to the coast.
10/10 recommend.
Music was great. My 2 year old approved and was dancing in her chair while eating.

I eat a lot of texmex and mexican food and this is hands down some of the best I've had. The carnitas are outstanding.

I have heard the food is great but every time we try to go they are closed. Their hours are pretty limited. Most recently we went for lunch on a Wednesday at 1:30 and they were closed. Very disappointing. I would definitely call before you go.

Hope to try this place someday!

Update! The food is amazing, worth the wait! But hours are still limited so plan accordingly.
