Server seemed off.... Maybe he was new, asked for a straw multiple times for my wife and ended up just getting it myself. Slow on the refills. Food was great.

We had heard so much hype about this place but haven’t made time to try it. Went today for my birthday and I’m upset that we haven’t gone sooner. Our expectations were high and they exceeded all of them! Food was amaaazinngggg and the service and atmosphere just added to it!

Chops and Eggs gave me a variety of emotions. First and foremost...the service and atmosphere was top notch. Our server Jahvani was a true professional, ask for her. Second...the food needed some attention. I ordered the Fried Chicken Benny, the plating was over the top...too much for no reason. We Chefs have a golden rule...never put anything on the plate that isn't meant to be eaten or part of the dish. They put a whole sprig of Rosemary and multiple pieces of fried Angel Hair for garnishment. What a waste of Rosemary and pasta, am I supposed to peel Rosemary and throw it on my chicken then bite the fried pasta? Ridiculous. What's worse is they layered my Benny with Scrambled Eggs, hot wilted lettuce and a hot tomato slice under the fried chicken. No one wants to eat a hot wilted piece of green leaf lettuce or a hot slice of tomato on a bed of hot mash potatoes. I couldn't taste my eggs because they were either covered with sauce or mash potatoes...I had to go looking for the Scrambled Eggs. Also the writing of "I love" in Sriracha on the plates rim...is played out...that was popular in the 90's as well as piling the plate and serving over sized portions. The good news is the chicken was hot, proper crispy and the sauce that was covering everything on the plate had a decent flavor but the amount poured on quite unnecessary. All in all I give it a 6/10, I can't get over the ridiculous garnishments and plating.-Chef Tommy-

Our second time here. Not as busy as the last visit but same great service and food. Prices are reasonable. Staffs are very welcoming upon entry and also provided a warm farewell. We will be a repeat customers.

George took care of our group. He was very engaging and funny. I loved the food and the aesthetics. The oldies music was great as well. We definitely will come back. With love from the Waxahachie crew!

The food was just okay. We went at 2pm for brunch & had the eggs Benedict with Salmon. The biscuits were dry & 'crunchy' as if they were made at breakfast time hours ago. The Mimosa was just bubbly orange juice...all juice, very little proseco. Not sure what all the rage reviews are about. Maybe we ordered the wrong food. Nothing spectacular..
