Church's Texas Chicken

I ordered the same two meals I always order for my wife and I. The chicken sandwich combo & the five piece chicken strip meal BUT! The chicken sandwich was not the regular chicken breast it was a super thin quarter of an inch thick chicken patty the kind of chicken patty that you get elementary schools

I would just have to say that I have been to this location twice and I have experienced nothing but great customer service and friendly employees. I just wanted to take the time to say thank you to the people at this location!

I’m normally not one to do reviews but after today I thought I should. When I came to this churches location it was busy (which was to be expected). My order was 2 5 piece tenders combos one with okra and one with mashed potatoes both cokes. Once ordering I pulled up the window, the total of my order changed from when I ordered to pulling up to the window. I didn’t think much of it and just paid. Well once I got my receipt it said 1 5 piece combo and 1 3 piece combo and 1 piece of chicken (2 extra tenders) on the side. When I brought it up to the lady at the window she said that she just ran it up wrong. When I asked her to redo it because it was a whole $3-$4 price difference she just kept saying she had it right and to pull up and park. I said ok fine I’ll just ask whoever brings my chicken out. The guy brings my food which of course is wrong. And I asked him about the prices on the receipt to which he said that she overcharged me. He went back in to get my missing sides and took my receipt with him. Once he came out with my sides in a bag, I pulled off. Only to realize that I didn’t get my drinks. So I had to park, get my sleeping son out the car and go wait in line for my 2 drinks. Where I then see the same girl throw my receipt in the trash can. Get my drinks and leave because I was already angry and didn’t want to cause a scene. To get home and realize that my sides that were given to me WERE STILL WRONG. My thing is, I wonder how many other people they add prices onto their receipts. It was such an unpleasant experience for no reason. 0/10

This place has officially made my least favorite list, waited 2 hours for two sandwich combos no pickles and sweet tea for me and my coworker, after 30 minutes I got my sandwiches only explained I’m missing the fries jalapeno poppers and drinks, 15 minutes later drinks explained again I’m missing the poppers and fries 30 minutes later I got the fries explained again that I’m missing the poppers and after 30 minutes I got the poppers. Finally I thought it was good, on my way back to the office I took a sip of my tea it wasn’t sweet looked in it was just very light water with no tint. Got into the office and finally sat down and opened my sandwich and it had pickles, I’m allergic to dill I can’t eat this, if I do my throat will seal up and I’ll die.

Bought a fish sandwich they took forever and to top it off the fish tasted ugly and smelled ugly. Y’all better stick to chicken.

I don't usually come here due to it, just not being good. But today I was in the area and really hungry and wanted chicken, so I decided to give it a chance again. And today 03/21/2025 around 730 pm we got our food and came home to eat. I don't know who was doing the chicken around that time, but they deserve a raise. It was fresh, on point with flavor, cooked just right. And whoever did the fries today, the amount of salt they used was just right. Thanks to them. My family and I will be returning again.

I came in during a rush and my food was hot and delicious. Service was fast! Rey was friendly and kind - asked exactly what I wanted and double checked everything was correct. Restaurant is very clean! Best Church’s ever!

Horrible service got our order wrong 2 times, not just that they gave the wrong person our order. Also mind you they try to give us another order and expect us to drive off mr or Ms Joel b and the dude said he did not see root beer on the receipt which is clearly says it I don’t know if yall are hiring people who can’t read but this was annoying Ms or Mr Joel b

I have never got down to eat inside. This location by my house. Drive Thru does take so long every time I go I get parked. Also in general make sure you have every idem you paid for before you leave.😐
