Please sweep your porch, adds a little class to the joint. Looks like it has been ignored for some time.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Coffee Waves is hands down one of the best spots in Corpus Christi! Whether you’re looking for a place to study, catch up with friends, or just unwind, this cozy café hits the mark every time.

Their coffee is phenomenal—smooth, rich, and expertly crafted. From lattes and cappuccinos to cold brews, every cup is a treat. If you’re in the mood for something sweet, their gelato is a must-try—super creamy with a great variety of flavors that rotate regularly.

They also have a solid selection of snacks and pastries that perfectly complement your drink. The atmosphere is relaxed, with plenty of seating and a cool, artsy vibe that makes it easy to focus or just hang out.

Highly recommend Coffee Waves to anyone in the area. You’ll want to keep coming back!

My go to iced vanilla latte for years and still my favorite place to take my kids for treat or gelato! Baristas are always so kind too. Best coffee shop!

I recently stopped by Coffee Waves to grab an iced coffee latte, arriving a little later in the day than ideal—but I’m glad I did. Overall, it was a solid experience, with a few minor hiccups.

gelato is the best, and extra aura points to sit out on the patio with your coffee

I’ve gone in a couple times for gelato and the employees have no idea what “gluten free” is and try to tell me the only one I can have is the non-dairy one. Now, obviously if it has cookies crumbs or something I know I can’t eat that, but for other flavors it would be pretty simple to have a list of ingredients they could check to see if there is any hidden gluten, like barley malt or something. I know they can’t guarantee something is free from cross-contamination, which is a risk I’m willing to take, but it shouldn’t be too hard to list ingredients somewhere that employees could look up. After an employee was downright rude today I decided I just don’t need a gelato that bad.

We got a carrot cake, lemon loaf, Chamomile tea with honey and x3 espresso shot. Everything was great besides the espresso shots! Tasted bitter and sour, probably burnt beans, poor extraction techniques and just a really bad experience.

The absolute best coffee shop in Corpus Christi. Great coffee — hot and cold — nice atmosphere, friendly baristas, cool locals. The gelato is to die for and you can level it up as an affogato. A perfect place to catch up on emails or study. If you haven’t been here, you need to visit.

Cute little coffee shop near the university. Friendly service, good coffee. Was a nice spot to sit and visit, even if you are not a college student.

Been going to this location since they opened back in 2008. Practically lived there during college and just returned back after a long time and the drinks and breakfast sandwiches are still on point. Definitely recommend the iced honey badger, I think that’s what it was called
