How to run a legal robbery open a overpriced low quality food and in a nice building ina high traffic area and take advantage of the stupid rich and curious. How do you guys get away with it idk when its clearly obvious in any perspective.

I order for Uber eats delivery the Banana Honey Pancakes. These pancakes had a horrible metallic rancid taste left on my tongue as if they were cooked on a dirty pan. Pancakes were flat and thin and unappealing, the syrup had no flavor, bananas came in a small plastic container and looked and tasted a few days old. The disgusting aftertaste is still lingering on my tongue and pallate as if ate several packets of Sweet N Low. They also had a few or no selections on non-chocolate products for people such as myself that has a severe chocolate allergy, all the cinnamon rolls were sold out and only a small pathetic selection of cakes to choose from. This place is overrated and the lesson here is that I shouldve just ordered Dennys Pancakes.

Food is expensive and the portions and not what their pictures show. They take too long to prepare your food. The atmosphere is nice. I bit hipster.

I had the green chili chicken paninni with house salad. Very good. We got there before the lunch rush. Our order was taken quickly and our food arrived quickly. Order was accurate and sandwich was hot. This was my first time and I liked it alot.

The server that placed the food on the table had extremely long artificial nails that touched my sandwich. She was also working the register and other areas. I found this very unhygienic and addressed this to the manager. Rather than take her off of serving food, he choose to keep her serving other customers in the establishment. This is actually against the health code to have such long nails and handle food and I've noticed a few workers wearing them.

Enjoyed my sandwich and soup decently enough. However two things make it so i cannot give this place higher than a three.
1. The price. I don't know if maybe I magically ordered the most expensive combo on the menu or what. But a ham & swiss sandwich and a cup of soup should not total to nearly 40 dollars for a singular person. That is insane.

2. What you get for what you pay. The food tasted good, but the sandwich was filled less than what you'd get at a cheaper location, making it mostly bread and sauce spread rather than lots of meat, onions, and cheese. For the price it was, That really drags my score down.

The staff were super kind and very on the ball. It was just exiting breakfast rush into lunch rush, meaning it was very, very busy. I saw staff cleaning, refilling ice machines, and getting through the order line very quickly and efficiently the entire time I was dining. Bless them I know this is a thankless job, and I appreciate them really putting in their all while probably dead tired from the first breakfast rush. The place was very clean and orderly for so many people being there. Big thumbs up on service.

Over all, good food, but I struggle to recommend it for the price, especially when there are all sorts of places that do breakfast, sandwiches, soups, and pastas in CC that do it just as well or better for cheaper. BUT, if you're into the aesthetics of a cute bakery and don't mind the price, I can see why it's very highly rated and I hope Corner Bakery continues to succeed in what it does. It just personally is not my favorite amongst places to eat in this town, but it is far from a bad place to go.
