More attention to bathroom cleanliness would be greatly appreciated.

Went to resturant on Saturday around 5:30 I ordered kids chicken tenders for my 22 month grandchild they were over cooked she couldn't chew them I ordered chicken tenders, steak fries and green beans made a point to please put green beans in a separate dish. Needless to say they didn't I told server I had ask for them in a separate dish. She took them back came right back with them in a dish and my steak fries and chichen soaked in water bean juice. I couldn't eat the soggy mess. My baby girl took a bite of the beans and said yuck she loves green beans I tasted them they were ice cold. I had to go home and cook us something to eat $34.00 thrown away. Will never go back there again.

My friend and I went to CB on Saturday after shopping a Holiday bazaar. She had breakfast and I had lunch. It was crowded, but we were seated within 15 minutes, time enough to shop (yes, we both bought from the CB store). Service was chaotic. We were asked for drink orders by 2 different people. When our iced teas arrived, they were brought in small paper cups because "they were washing dishes" and had no clean glasses. Soon after, someone else brought out plastic cups with lids. People at tables around us had actual tea glasses. Go figure.

We ordered our meals. After waiting quite a long while, a hostess (not our server) came by with pen and paper and asked for our order again because the computers were down. We repeated our order and ate more biscuits. And they brought more biscuits. About 5 minutes later, our server came by to take our order again because something else went wrong. He then had cinnamon biscuits sent to our table. A nice touch, but we wanted our meal, not more bread. We ended up not eating the second order of biscuits, and took the cinnamon bites home.

While we were waiting for our meals, a male employee came to bus the table next to us. I looked next to me, and he had his pants down BELOW his rear end!!! AND he was wearing a belt! Don't ask me why he was wearing a belt. It clearly wasn't doing anything. It must have been one of those malfunctioning belts.

The food was good, but we had stuffed ourselves on so many biscuits, that we weren't hungry.

Our server was very good and attentive but I noticed the people taking food to the tables didn't really know where they were going. I saw this happen several times. I had 2 eggs over medium, crispy bacon, hash browns, and sourdough toast. Food was tasty, sourdough toast was the best.

I requested the build your own breakfast with eggs over easy, grits, and country ham. The order came with eggs with yolks broken and solid and a small piece of ham, a slice of bacon, and a sausage patty. I had to send the whole mess back and ask that it be remade. My partner was long finished eating by the time I got my meal. The waitress in the meantime tried to tell me the 2 oz portion of country ham was what I ordered. We were on a 200 mile road trip and this all set us back 45 minutes on a tight schedule. The moral of the story is I no longer trust Cracker Barrel to be consistent and reliable.

Had to wait another 15 mins after my scheduled pickup time. Server appeared to be stressed out. When I arrived home I realized my salad was missing! That was a huge disappointment as traffic within the 6 mile drive to and from the site is chaotic. I tried calling but was on hold too long I ended up eating my cold grilled chicken without my salad.

Atmosphere is great. Gives the hometown southern cooking feeling. Staff was phenomenal. Great service, quick but not sacrificing quality for speed. Highly recommend if your looking for a hometown southern cooking type place.

Fabulous breakfast!!
Incredible service!! We arrived in our rv late on Friday night and spent the night at Cracker Barrel. We had a terrific breakfast on Saturday morning. Thank you so much for both a safe place to stay and delightful food in the morning!

I haven’t been to Cracker Barrel in years because I had such a bad experience. I will say they must have made a change from the top down. We were so taken back by the hospitality and awareness of the General Manager Marianne to come and ask how our specific meal was. And our server Amanda J was exceptional. We will be back for the ribs the host recommended.
