Hubs & I came for an early dinner on a Thursday around 4:30. Danielle went out of her way to explain the menu and make recommendations, take our orders, serve us, check on us throughout the meal. She was extremely friendly and courteous. The food - I got pulled pork & potato salad, hubs got chopped brisket & fries - was fantastic! The meats were tender and well-seasoned, BBQ sauce good but not too sweet, potato salad & fries were both spot-on, sweet teas were perfect. Atmosphere was relaxed and fun. Would definitely come here again.

When we pulled up we realized it wasn't Texas Mesquite anymore. Was very disappointed but decided to try it anyway and thankfully it is still AMAZING!!!!!

This is now the Tipsy Turtle. We tried it on a whim and left super impressed by the bbq sandwich.

We went in for a couple of beers and some bbq. We were greeted by the bar tender saying “I’ll be right with you, I’m a one man show”. Not a good sign, but we were two of ten people in the place. Five minutes later, we still have not been able to order, and Diana ( as introduced by the bar tender) walks in and sits at the bar. I thought things would improve….nope! After taking an order from the one person in front of us the bar tender had to leave to get a cash register till. When he came back no acknowledgment, nothing. Just counted his till. ( he could have taken our order or gotten us a beer. The topper is that the owner was sitting right there. No effort to help, no apology, nothing! We walked out after 10 minutes very disappointed.I had high hopes for a new food option on the island!!

Traveling for business and love checking out local establishments. This place is near the beach and a casual setting with outdoor seating. Staff was very friendly and the food was amazing. I recommend the Burnt Ends Po' Boy with homemade chips.

Do not patronize this place! Worst service ever! Burned the fries and argued they were good. Super rude and confrontational. Cook got in my wife and mother-in-law's face and challenged them. We are never going back and staff is horrendous. New owners are super clueless and have no concept of customer service.

This place was a pretty decent place to stop by and grab a bite ! Happy hour is 4pm-8pm even on Sundays ! Aj is a strong waiter and made sure he was attentive to serving our drinks and food . The owners are there making sure business is running by smoothly. I highly recommend the chopped brisket with extra pickles on the side ! Hope to see the crowd pick up . ????
