Small little donut place off the beaten path on Padre Island that's run by a nice senior couple. Not sure what they do with the dough, or the icing, but they were super yummy. I don't like most of the heavily frosted donuts, but I'm a big fan of the basic glazed donut or glazed twist. I ordered the glazed twist here, and there was something about it that took it just a bit higher than your average glazed donut at your local grocery store. It was delicious. Unfortunately we stopped there as we were headed out, headed back to Dallas. So I didn't get a chance to go back a second or third day. Give it a try and let me know if I'm crazy, but there was something unique about these donuts. Two thumbs up.

Hard to find on the end of the strip center...apple fritter was the bomb and the donuts were as expected. Sweet and tasty.

The guy is very nice. Great donuts! I also bought the twist with chocolate frosting but ate that in the car. The donut is crisp which is soooo good because when you bite into it, it's soft!

Messed up order of 1/2 dozen kolaches as suppose to be sausage with cheese but got no cheese pigs in blanket for $18 which is pretty darn expensive for basically mystery hot dogs. Called and no answer to correct order for office. Sad as expected more as wife frequents and never any issues.
