Place was surprisingly empty for how good the food was. Our server, Jewel, was wonderful and attentive despite how short staffed they seemed. Will be saving this one to my favourites!
Went here because its across from the hotel that I'm staying at went on a slow day ( pretty empty).
The area (for me) feels super cluttered there is alot with the decorations going on but still cute alot of room for families if you want to be outside or inside they also have a small upstairs too. Which is a plus!

I am so glad my family and I stopped in to La Playa! The atmosphere and location are great, but the meals we had were amazing. Great seasoning on meats and sauces, charro beans were delicious, and it was affordable. We plan to make this our go-to Mexican restaurant in Corpus.
