El Camino has the privilege of catering to downtown and are living up to the high expectations! The Margarita Garden is a great stop for a drink during Artwalk! Good food!

I didn’t have any food however the chips and all the different salsas that were brought out were absolutely delicious. El Camino has a good happy hour selection and the atmosphere is amazing… the outside patio is also nice…

It's really loud in there. It's my only complaint.

The staff made it uncomfortable with their unprofessionalism. Who talks down to their servers & staff in front of customers??? Seriously? Down right wrong and who does that? The people what work here do. Food is good, but being in and around that kind of atmosphere isn't good. Not going back.

What can I say? The chips are mostly burnt, and cold. They brought out the wrong dish for me. By the time they brought out what I actually ordered, the others in my group were already done eating, plus what arrived didn't hold up to the menu description at all. They didn't know what was in their food when asked. I sent my food back.. They also brought the bills out without asking if we wanted dessert. So all i had during the outing was cold burnt chips with bad salsa.
I have been here once before, and the drink tasted awful and the food was not good - taste & texture.
Needless to say, I was not impressed.
It's a cool looking place, but I go out to eat for... yknow.. food and drink. I'll go somewhere else.

I've been a fan of El Camino, especially for their Pina Coladas (with alcohol, of course!), which I've enjoyed on multiple visits. However, my recent experience was shockingly disappointing. First, despite having been served alcohol there before, I was denied a drink because of my ID even though it’s a valid id and not expired. Okay, I didn’t want to start an issue so i blew it off, but the real problems started when I was eating and spotted a roach crawling on the table. To make matters worse, the waitress seemed unconcerned, offering a flippant apology and then presenting the check as if nothing had happened. To add insult to injury, there was some kind of insect, possibly a flea or tick, on the check itself! This level of disregard for customer experience and basic hygiene is unacceptable. I have video proof of the roach from last week and I won't be returning.

Street corn & calabaza sides need adjusting. Rice & beans are not traditional. Shrimp tacos were ok- beans come on these. Beans taste like they’re frm a can. Apparently there is a “after 10pm” menu that isn’t mentioned where tacos al carbon are made appropriately on certain days- otherwise covered in queso. Staff & atmosphere are great!!!

This place was so overrated. The food was so disappointing that I have a full plate to take home to the cats. The wait time for our food was a lifetime, ask for a drink and wait another hour. Don’t recommend this place at all.

the server was super sweet and the atmosphere was amazing. the food was mid though, not really any true flavor. the chips had a TON of seasoning which was spicy and made it hard to eat. the food overall tasted like any other place but super expensive.

This place has a beautiful vintage, TexMex vibe. The menu was refreshingly unique and delicious. I love when restaurants bring a nice cold jug of water with no ice to the table. It’s such a nice touch especially for big water drinkers. They also brought fantastic tortilla chips with 3 different types of dipping sauce. Service was excellent. We got the eggs Benedict and it was very flavorful but the chorizo was so tough to cut it kind of messed up the whole dish in the process.

Our favorite restraunt in Texas! Very clean and very busy all the time. But even tho it has been busy every time we go, the wait hasn't been long and the waiters always check on us constantly. The service is wonderful and the tortilla chip backet is always full! My husband and I love the steak fajitas!

Best food in Corpus. Great margs, queso, and beef fajitas. Atmosphere is fun. Would compete with Ninfas or El Tiempo for overall best Tex mex.
