i wanted Menudo but it was already in the night, so i visited the restaurant El Sol de Mexico #1 on Staples st, and they had a great Menudo

I will consider the food a 7/10, had better tacos. However, it is pricey. 4 mini tacos with carnitas is 11:59$ or so. If you change 2 of those to asada it goes all the way to 14.89. Plus tax it was $15.59 in a local spot with no ac. I got it as a take out but that’s nice restaurants money there. Serve is 6/10 cos they don’t speak English that great l.

I wonder how many OMG's and WOW's this place gets daily because OMG it's so good. After living in Corpus Christi a year now, I can honestly say this place is #1. Their salsa is #1. Their tortillas are #1. Their beans and cheese are #1. You get the jist.

Thank God I know some Spanish because the servers know no English. I saw two customers walk out since the waitstaff took so long to get their drink orders, which is what I almost did. The ladies at the front seemed very mad and upset for whatever reason. The food was not the best, not the worst. The bus boy tried to hit me with his tray passive aggressively. I used to love coming here growing up, however the service leaves much to be desired

First time eating here and will now be our place in Corpus. Large portions, traditional taste with nice kick in the sauces and the people were beyond friendly. Thanks for having us!
We celebrated my granddaughters graduation here. Party of 15. They provided exceptional service to us. The food was delicious and we left full and content. Thank you!
