The Dino beef rib was so tender it fell off the bone! The marble brisket was the best ever! Potato salad was really good. Pork ribs were also Very tender and flavorful. I was so happy to find out that he had opened back up! Best bbq and the location on Holly rd is nice. Try Garrett's you won't be disappointed! Deby G

WOW!! Anyone hungry for good food should stop by Garret’s BBQ. Brisket was so tender, so juicy, so full of flavor, NOT so peppery flavored like some places and just delicious! The bbq sauce only enhanced the great flavor we were already enjoying but you really don’t even need the sauce to enjoy this bbq. My husband suggested we try this new place on Holly Road and I’m so glad we did. We’ll definitely be back to try the ribs ?

Southside location...heard a few good things about Garretts and we wanted to try. Got two 2 meat plates with potato salad and beans. Got to try chicken, brisket, rib and sausage. Super friendly staff. Keeping it short. The brisket was fall-apart tender. The meat on the rib was also very tender. The sausage seemed to be eckridge. The potoato salad was pretty good, the beans very runny. What was the overall impression? The complete absence of smoke flavor. Wife's one word review: "bland." I REALLY wanted to like it as it's close to my house. But we'll keep our business elsewhere.

This place is so good and authentic, the meat was all falling off practically as soon as I picked it up and pulled it apart. Haven't tried the ribs yet because I'm sure they sell out immediately but the brisket and sausage is so good. Highly recommend this place if you want some authentic bbq here in Corpus!

Ordered the brisket and sausage sandwich with potato salad. The brisket and sausage were soooo good didn't even need bbq sauce. The service was really good, we sat outside and multiple employees came out and asked how everything was and were very friendly ?.
