I had a fantastic experience at the Switchgrass Brunch Buffet! The food was fresh, delicious, and offered a wide variety—everything from classic breakfast favorites to unique dishes that truly elevated the brunch experience. The presentation was beautiful, and everything was kept well-stocked and clean. What really stood out, though, was the outstanding customer service from Alaina. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Alaina checked in with us just the right amount—never intrusive, but always available when we needed anything. Her professionalism and friendly demeanor really added to the overall experience. Highly recommend both the buffet and the service. We'll definitely be back!
This is a hotel restaurant advertising itself as a real restaurant on Google Maps. Hotel restaurants are maybe suitable for business clients who are not familiar with the area and not interested in making an effort to find something interesting. But for people who are looking for a local experience, most hotel restaurants are disappointing in almost every way. Even a mediocre restaurant experience, but a real one, is better than a typical superficial hotel restaurant experience. I give them one star for what I consider to be false advertising.
I made this reservation on a whim, just hoping to find something available for mother's day. I had not researched the venue or the menu, but was just happy to find a place. To my surprise, we sat at a small table overlooking the bay, and it was beautiful. It was quiet, too. The buffet was upper level, with plenty of options. The food was very good (better than expected), and the service was friendly and attentive. My mother asked if I would make the same reservation again next year.
Definitely not our typical experience and not worth the money. It will be our last Mother's Day Brunch at the Omni after 6 years in a row! Kid chefs at omelette bar were rude and should be behind the scenes. Sadly, we were seated in the dungeon behind the bar on a beautiful Sunday morning. How depressing on Mother's Day! Heavy on price, light on care! Highly disappointing!!!
Everything was great. Ambiance was perfect, food was cooked to perfection. Waiters were very attentive and took great care of our group of 12 hungry guests! Will come again.
Very special place to dine overlooking Corpus Christi bay waterfront! Maggie was also very special! Yes both restaurants in the Omni are very good! Enjoy!
Beautiful view and great service our waitress was super nice even though we got there almost at closing time

This little Hotel restaurant was fabulous ! Their homemade potato chips were the perfect accompaniment to a DELICIOUS roasted red pepper and chicken breast sandwich on ciabatta bread. In fact this perfect little gem of a restaurant fed me twice! Yes it was that good! I had a club sandwich the other day I stayed with the Great Omni. The club sandwich was packed with turkey, ham and the bread again, just as great as the first sandwich. Dine in. Get it to go. Either way just go! The staff was so attentive. They had me in and out of the restaurant quickly because I was on a timeline.
The views were beautiful , the food was wonderful, and the service was outstanding! Our server Emily was very prompt and professional and added to our great experience on date night.
Service was extremely slow - one hour from seating to receipt of food. Apparently there was only one server and she rarely checked on us.
My husband and I went here for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. The service was extremely poor and it started with a half hour wait just to see our waiter. We ordered food and a bottle of wine. We received our wine but were there for another 45 minutes and still no food. They said they were waiting on the mashed potatoes. Then minutes later said they were plating it, then 10 min later offered us a free drink or dessert due to the delays. Ten more minutes passed and we left cash on the table for the wine and left. They never provided bread or anything and multiple tables around us were experiencing the same. We have never walked out of a restaurant before, it was absolutely horrible.
A little hidden gem. Forgot for the longest time this was in corpus. In the omni hotel, 2nd floor. Faces the water, great view, relaxing and very chill.
