Lylah was great. When we walked in she acknowledged us and communicated that should would be right with us. She made great eye contact and made my experience great. The food was hot, ready fast and tasted great. Previously I had horrible experiences. I haven't seen the same people that did not give me great service. The food has always been great so I would give the service chance after chance. Great job to Golden Chick for listening to the bad reviews and fixing the issues. Great job to lylah.

I'm not a person who loves eating outside food often but for some reason on my birthday, I really wanted golden chick, especially since we were gonna be stopping in corpus for a birthday weekend with my family but what a disappointing experience I had when as soon as we walked in Very tired by the way from our long drive with both of our kids who were screaming in crying, we were greeted very rudely when I asked for well-done chicken. The cashier told me the chicken was already well done and we also asked for water cups for our kids and she Was surprised for some reason. Also, we told them we were dining in and they bagged our food to go and when we asked for plates, she looked at us and said why, and my husband had to tell her because we were going to eat in the store and she proceeded to give us only one plate and my husband said we need four aside from all of that, they kept looking over the counter at our table, not very discreetly and I'm sure they might've thought that we were giving our kids fountain drinks in the water cups, but we were not. Also, as soon as I came out, I noticed right away that the chicken was cold and yes, I did try calling to complain and nothing was done. I'm still waiting for a response from corporate. Hopefully they can figure something out and just teach the cashier how to treat customers..

Was short on time yesterday and got talked into a 3 piece tender combo for lunch by Ronnie and coleslaw as a side. The coleslaw was amazing, the tenders were delicious, and I appreciate staff that knows how to make good food, I was impressed. Awesome work, I WILL be back.

So I came to the location on 3138 SPID in Corpus Christi for the fifth time and once again NO MAC AND CHEESE. 5 TIMES IN A ROW NO MAC AND CHEESE! What's the deal with the Mac and cheese? I usually always order around 5 pm or 6 pm. Just when I'm getting off work and heading home. This time, I ordered on the app the 6 piece tenders with Mac and Cheese as one of the sides... and when I got to the restaurant, I was told they are currently out of mac and cheese, and they offered a substitute once again. So I got green beans, but that did not hit the spot. Very disappointing. Next time, I'll just go to KFC and get my meal there. They always have Mac and Cheese and never disappoint. ***Update*** After reading your response, I've updated this review and removed a star... and decided there will NOT be a next time! You've lost me as a customer! To anyone reading this, I recommend KFC, Churches, Popeyes or Chicken Express... in that order.
I got their crispy chicken sandwich that had some extremely good pickles and pimento cheese on the bottom. Very happy with it!

As soon as we walked up they said we're only doing takeout not dine in because they close at 9, but the website says 10!! My wife very clearly ordered a family 12 pc mixed, they gave us an order of tenders!! We brought it up and they argued that she said no you ordered a family tender deal. To fix it they said they would return the money then charge us again for what we wanted, but the refund would take 3 to 5 business days to go back 🤦🏾♂️ I said why can't we just pay the difference for what we wanted in the 1st place? This kid up front looked so lost because she couldn't comprehend what I wanted or couldn't figure out the simple math. Either way I told my wife let's just take what they gave us and go, cuz im not waiting that long for a refund and they don't seem to be able to do simple math!! Food was mid!

Girl working the counter was rude, an elderly couple in front of us was asked by the girl if they were paying cash or card and when they said card she rudly said “ well then you have to use the kiosk to order” the elderly man said “oh I’m sorry I don’t know how to use those machines I’ll pay with cash” and the cashier said “ Ughhhh…. Ok well you’ll have to wait” she then looked at us and was gonna ask us the same question we said “nvm we will go somewhere else thanks” so disrespectful especially for that elderly couple.

I came in to with me and my family we order a two fish and 12pcs strips meal two side and the man in the front was very happy respectful and upbeat also I don’t know his name but the receipt say Pablo but he his tattoos on his arms he look like a manager and when I asked him if he was he said no but I do believe he should be all I’m goin say he his a great customer service and fun personality and great customer care and support with are family even tho he was busy on both side it look like he does drive thur and front counter and also the lady there was also super sweet and they both awesome but thank Pablo for you service to us and are family

Restaurant says open til 10pm on the door and on Google. However, when we got there at 9:13pm they were already closed with the door locked and 3 employees walking around. One person was even in the dining room mopping looking at us. Would love to give no stars.
