Service was pretty bad, staff seemed annoyed by our presence, we were the only ones in the place at around 3pm on a Friday. The chicken was good but everything else seemed old and was cold. Don't recommend.

Tried this place for the first time since them moving from old place and I really enjoyed their liver and gizzards as always.Drive thru line wasn't too bad of a wait,they are quick to get them orders out.I will be returning soon.

Really disappointed with how far this place has gone downhill. The moment we walked in, the cashier looked annoyed we were even there. No greeting, no smile just attitude while taking our order. It felt like we were bothering them just by showing up.

When our food came out, our onion rings were absolutely disgusting. They were moldy and barely breaded like someone had half prepped them, saw the mold, and served them anyway. It was hard to miss. What made it worse was that the staff kept glancing over at our table, almost like they knew what they had just served.

We asked for an extra paper plate, and again, the cashier rolled their eyes and acted like we were a problem. The whole vibe was rude and uncomfortable.

My partner didn’t want to cause a scene, so after we left, he called the place not to demand a refund, just to let them know, ā€œHey, those onion rings were visibly moldy, that’s a serious health concern.ā€ But of course, no one answered the phone. They never do.

This place has become super unprofessional and honestly unsanitary. It’s sad, because it used to be decent. We won’t be back.
I wish I could add pictures to this post but it’s not letting me maybe I’ll take this concern to facebook instead.
Please choose wisely where you take your family to eat. some people just don’t care unfortunately.

Spent 25 minutes in line with only one other car in front and never got my food. All I ordered was 4 chicken strips and they couldn’t even give me that. Absolutely horrible

The chicken and tenders can be very dry at times. The wait time is ridiculous. Over 30 minutes for an 8 piece chicken makes no sense. The customer service is non existent. This place needs training in every department. Moved to a new location and they didn’t have any time to work on simple customer service? I would’ve give 0 stars if I could.

Customer service was awful. I’ve been there 3 times now and everytime the person at the window (3 different people) acted like they were bothered I was even there. The food was also awful, my green beans and Mac n cheese were both cold, and the chicken was too pink for me to feel safe eating it. I miss Chicken Shack.

I’ve been a loyal customer to Good N Crisp for many years now. I can always say I’ve gotten good customer service up until today. Today I had a real bad experience with the one in charge of the place for today, he said his name was Desere. The manager or owner, I’m not sure, they know me from going there all the time. First time I see this Desere guy. I had called in advance to see what time the lobby closed to dine in and it was him that answered the phone. He told me at 8:30 because they were short handed. He really doesn’t need to tell me that he’s short handed. That’s none of my Business and not my problem. I’m the customer. So I decide to drive there from Robstown where I live instead of going to Golden Chick in Robstown because I like Good N Crisp better. When I get there, this guy has no customer service skills whatsoever. Takes my order. It’s 8:15pm. In the past I have eaten there past their lobby closing time, as long as you make it before they close their lobby, they never make you leave until you finish your food. They’re still open until 10pm drive thru. So this guy takes my order and then after I pay and he hands me my receipt then he tells me that they close their lobby lobby at 8:30pm. I ask him so at 8:30 I’m gonna have to leave? And he says yes. I’m like WTF. I look at my watch and I have 15 minutes left and I barely ordered. What a total idiot. If your going to let me dine in, let me finish my food. He tells me because he’s short handed ( AGAIN…. not my problem that your short handed and I don’t wanna hear if your short handed or not) I’m here to eat and get served and pay for my food not for free lunch. So I tell this Desere to give me a refund. He has no customer service skills to ask is there anything he can do to correct the situation or anything. He just gives me a refund which will take 3-4 business days . I tell him so you take my money but but it’s going to take 3-4 business days, I tell him then just give me cash money because I don’t want to wait 3-4 business days. The guy should’ve just closed the lobby if he was going to use the excuse that he was short handed, just close the lobby down then. When I had ordered and he first told me at 8:30 I had to leave because he was short handed, I told him that after I got my food I wasn’t going to need his staff anymore so him being short handed wasn’t going to affect me, I was just here to eat. Hate to make this long. But I’m hoping to talk to his manager or owner of the place. Never have been treated like this. Drove from Robstown and this is the service I get and I’m a frequent customer. It just takes one employee to make me not want to go back to the place. I’m hoping to speak to the owner specifically.

Just left this establishment after going thru their drive thru. The man that took our order over the speaker was rude at best. As if we were bothering him or interrupting. When we pulled up to the window he took our money, without a smile, and told another employee to give us our food. If you don't like working with the public get another job. Service like that can certainly taint an otherwise good restaurant. Good n crisp should do some employee evaluations.

Been here twice I always get the chicken nuggets they are fresh and hot. They take long but that’s ok because the food actually worth it. Their chicken looks dry or it’s been sitting out there. There cakes are dry. It’s clean inside. The employees are very nice and help you with anything. The only thing I didn’t like was the manager she was on her phone not really helping out and some random guy just went behind the counter and grab a drink.

Not great at customers service waited in line forever when I called them they were arguing with another customer about giving them raw tenders with five cars waiting to be serviced…. They used to be great but it’s gone down hill
