Our dinners arrived at different times with a 10 minute wait for the last plate for a party of 5. We had to ask several times for items that were supposed to come with our meals. Chicken fried steak was mostly breading and mashed potatoes were so cold the butter would not melt in them. Waitress took forever to bring us our check but then rushed us through paying including taping the hand held credit card scanner to show us where to tip. We are adults and know how to read! Decorations and bathroom stalls were covered in a thick layer of greasy dust and the floor was slick with grease. We will NOT be returning!

Classic fried catfish and seafood. Well executed. Good service, aged interior (kind of dark), and great food. Portions were good, food was fresh, price was reasonable. Worth a stop for some good fried catfish.

After being treated like crap at Black Diamond Oyster, we decided to come to a favorite place in Corpus. Shame on us for even attempting something else! We both got the fried oysters and they were absolutely fantastic. The hushpuppies were spot on, and the waitress even brought us some extras and did not charge us. The beer is ice cold, and the service is fantastic!Although a little dated and cheesy regarding the decor, we still absolutely love it! It gives the place character.

We've been coming here on and off for over 10 years and enjoy the food. However, the restaurant is looking old and feeling kind of dirty ( floors, curtains, tables, walls ) The place is in a nice location but is simply becoming rundown. We'd like to see the owners invest in a deep cleaning with some major renovations, perhaps have a Grand Opening! [ Also, don't serve those little pieces of catfish for dinner, disappointing when happens ]

The food was outstanding. Our waitress, Grace, provided fantastic customer service. We will definitely stop here again for dinner.
Ate here twice while I was in town for a week. Ordered the same thing because I loved it so much the first time! Was quiet and spacious.

Could not find anything on the menu that would make me go back …now that just my opinion… it has been open for a lot of years …. I have lived in CC for two decades and to many people here don’t give me the idea that they are a healthy bunch … not saying they are all CFC customers
