I love this place ,the food is a 10 star rating ,they have very friendly staff 11 star rating...if you haven't tried the Hi-Ho you need too....I recommend the Enchiladas ( they are bomb diggity) 😋 I promise you won't be disappointed!
If you can try to beat the crowds cuz everybody goes there. The carne asada tacos we're so good the barbacoa was good and not too greasy. If you just get two tacos you'll be full they are completely full and the tortillas are like homemade tortillas so you know it's good next time I'm going to corpus will definitely be going there and you have to make sure that you get there early because they do close early on Saturdays like most the other places around the good places close early
I only saw 2 menus on our side of the building. We had to wait until other patrons were done ordering to view the menu as the 2 menus were passed around to other tables. We waited 45 minutes for our food as did everyone else on our side of the building. The food was good, but we waited so long for our order that the ice in my water completely melted. I asked for more ice, but it never came. They ran out of tortillas! Did the tortilla machine break? Yes, they're made by machine. I left with a headache as most people were having conversations by screaming at each other. Either hire more wait staff or don't open both sides of the restaurant when you can't handle the load! We won't be going back!
Food was delicious and hot, came out perfect. Hadn't been here in a few years but taste just like it used to. Would recommend to others and will definitely be back! A+++
So after visiting the Selena Museum, we were told about this place. We decided to check it out. Some of the best food and best prices you will ever see. Hand made flour tortillas put this place over anything else.
The wait for food was too long.
How in the world, $17 for 4 tacos. And 2 were bean & cheese. Ridiculous. Didn't even get drinks.
We were from out of town .have gone there when nere.
The man in the early morning taking orders blatantly overcharged me for simple bacon and egg tacos by $1.40 each. When I asked him why it was so expensive he said, “blame your president!” Never going back to that racist atmosphere again. Make sure to check your ticket against the menu at hand because it definitely is not the same.
The specials are a flat $10 and includes a beverage. So simple but the flavors take me back 40 years. A very popular Corpus Christi spot going by 45 years.

OMG ! This place is Bomb the food was 🔥 fire .The regulars there are very friendly 🥰❤️ & so was the waitress
Lengua with mash potatoes and fried beans, was so good, but I was impressed with the flour tortillas, OMG, taste like back home Honduras baleadas.
Food is extremely good. The homemade flour tortillas are amazing. I gave 4 stars on atmosphere because it's pretty loud in the dining room, but no way would it stop me from going in again.... Food is great!
Best place in Corpus for breakfast and lunch ..
