Great food and atmosphere! The counter staff, cooks and managers are very friendly. I would drive from Bulverde just to eat there again. Texas barbecue and Texas atmosphere! Get the peach cobbler!

Great food and service. First time trying out the BBQ from this place and I've gotta admit... we're hooked! The brisket was tender, the sausage juicy, and the baked potato salad was on point. The bread used for the sandwiches is house made so you gotta know it's good. As far as the cobbler... yummy yummy yummy! The cobbler too is house made so it was delicious! Very friendly staff! We will DEFINITELY be eating here every time we visit Corpus!

We had to order food at the last minute for a group of 18 people. I called Hoegemeyer's at 10:30am to order 18 plates over the phone. Not only did they have it hot and ready when we arrived at 11:45am, but they were very nice and had great customer service! The food was amazing with very large portions! Thank you!

So it's a lil pricey, a lil greasier than would like to eat, the bbq sauce a lil to watery, and the parking is very limited. People seem to be nice from what little interaction I received. Bathrooms clean and restaurant pretty nice.

Yummmmy, only and I mean only note is, I got my order to go, with beans and corn, well my sandwich was completely soggy. Separate containers would be nice. That's all.

Drove from Rockport today to try this place out as we had received rave reviews. Arrived about 1:30 on a Thursday only to find they were out of all the ribs and chicken as well as the cobbler which is included in the price of the 1-2-3 meat plates. Needless to say, we chose not to stay as we weren't able to try out some of the things we had gotten our tastebuds ready for. Very disappointing. Not sure we will try again - too far to drive to find out they're already out of what we want.

Food was not that great. Got a 1 meat plate which consist of brisket and side of corn and green beans. The corn and green beans tasted like it came out of a can and the brisket was bland. Ordered a side of cobbler didn't think it would be in a small cup for the price I paid. Would not order from here ever again.
