Previous takeout orders from this place were not bad, however I received an order today of what appeared to be BOILED/soggy marbled brisket that is currently making me feel ill…I also caught a bit of an attitude from one of the attendants when I asked her a simple question before waiting in line… doubt I will be returning

Cute atmosphere! The bbq was good. I got brisket and my husband got ribs. Sides were good. We spent about $40 for us two.

My only reservation is that the cashier seemed a little teary with us. She didn’t SAY anything wrong per-say, but her tone was abrupt and her facial expressions made us feel like we were unwanted. There was some eye rolling and pursed lips. I’m not sure what we did wrong. Maybe she was just having a bad day??? Been there!

You should go try it tho! The food was fine and… fun decor.

I came on for lunch and the food was awesome. Brisket was tender and the jalapeño sausage was great. Loved the bbq sauce and the cobbler.

First time visit and would go back again. Our party had the cheesesteak (it was alright), the dip (delicious), burger, chopped beef, turkey, and brisket (really good). Baked beans were my least favorite side, green beans and baked potato salad were good. Interior decor is pretty cool. Good portions for the money.

Brisket was amazing but beef ribs and sides were terrible. Mixed review, not in a rush to go back

TL;DR Great BBQ with friendly staff, worth visiting again!Ate here on a Wednesday afternoon and arrived only a few minutes after ordering. We were informed that it would take a few additional minutes to get our food due to a large catering order they were finishing making. We didn't mind the wait, and it was 100% worth the wait. We also found out that it was the restaurants anniversary for which we understand why they continue to stay around. When our food was taking longer than the restaurant expected the manager came out and thanked everyone for their patience and promised food to be delivered shortly. It was nice to see such proactivity from a restaurant.I ordered the two meat plate with brisket and smoked turkey. They had two options for potato salad a traditional version and a Texas version, I decided to try the texas version. I also selected their corn and was pleased to find out that a peach cobbler was included with the price of the meal.Everyone in my family finished their food and there wasn't a scrap to be found. The brisket was moist but not wet which is our preferred style. The smoked turkey was well seasoned and also maintained some moisture. We were well impressed with the portion sizes of the meat as well as the flavoring. Their in house sauce was also delicious. The most memorable thing we ate however was the Texas Potato salad, which appeared to have some sort of pepper (we assume bell pepper) flakes in it. It was absolutely to die for! We finished it all off with our respective peach cobbler which was a nice added bonus. None of the other 8 BBQ stops we would make included a form of dessert with their 2 meat plates. While this BBQ was delicious it lands quite comfortably on our #2 spot for the best BBQ in Texas. We will be back and definitely believe it is worth driving out of our way for again!

Weird. Had a large business dinner here. Food was 2 hours late. They didn't have any music on. Felt like they wanted us to leave the whole time.
