Great spot for dinner and drinks! Seated right away and friendly staff. Food was delicious and decently priced. Cool atmosphere and will be returning!

We've been there twice for lunch. What is it with the in-house brews. They are either flat or horrible. The heffy is no where close to a wheat beer. Saved by the food. I enjoyed the shrimp PoBoy. The rest of the party said the food was ok

The snapper plate I had was excellent. The rice and veggies were fresh and tasty. The service was excellent. Very prompt and courteous.

So good, we returned for a second time! Both times the food was fantastic. Each of the servers that we worked with were very attentive and always made sure that everything was exactly the way we wanted it. Each of the menu selections were Delicious. I have now visited this location a total of four times. Each time is fantastic! If there is a complaint. It would be that the cheesecake is very generic and frozen. But it still had a great taste.

Great seafood restaurant with a great atmosphere. This place is great for date nights or families. There is bar seating if you are solo or want to catch a sporting event! Highly recommend!

Railroad Seafood and Brewery is a hidden culinary treasure! This spot in [Location] seamlessly blends fresh seafood delights with the charm of a brewery. Service left a lot to be desired. I walked in and stood at the desk waiting to be seated. Three people stood there chatting, ignoring me entirely. I stood there for five minutes. In that time, two people walked away and the one guy left just stood there wiping down menus and never spoke until I spoke to him. Fast forward. It was the end of happy hour. I ordered a vodka raspberry lemonade. It was hands down the worst drink I've ever had. It was way too sweet, and tasted muddy. I barely touched it the whole dinner, but our waitress never asked if she could get me something else or if it was ok. When I asked for a tea and shared how bad the drink was, there was no effort to bring me anything else and they charged me for it. We ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. We got a plate full of melted mozzarella with a handful of mushrooms buried under there. The cheese was way too much, and greasy. I had the black drum, beer battered, and grilled shrimp with sweet potato fries and a Caesar salad. The salad wasn't brought out with the meal - in fact, it didn't come out until after my meal. The fish had a strong fishy taste, and the battered oozed grease. The shrimp were hammered - so tough they were like meat gristle. The fries were fine. Thank goodness for those. In short, terrible experience, and the only seafood we had during our trip, so even more disappointing. Never again.

Server had absolutely no idea what it meant to need to be gluten free and therefore had no suggestions about the menu except not to eat bread. Thanks. Anyway, I ordered the grilled redfish, green beans and cheesy grits. The grits looked like they had a Kraft single laid across the top of the bowl. Okay. The green beans were very good, not just canned. The fish was moist and tasty. Enjoyed our meal even though we were surrounded by dogs on the patio. No view. The service was slow. Husband totally loved the bourbon bread pudding and raved several times about how good it was. Tried to return but the restaurant is closed on Sunday. Manager--please educate staff about celiac disease, wheat allergies and gluten intolerances.

Trying local restaurants with in-house brewing is a must when vacationing. Railroad Seafood & Brewery is the best choice my family and I have made during all our trips. The brews and food were really good, but the service we received from Bentley made our visit miles above fantastic. He made sure the beers and meals were to our liking. Even though the current special, Shrimp Pesto Pasta, was not available the staff was able to make up a batch and it was incredible! Bentley answered all the questions we bombarded him with, helped with dessert decision on cheesecake and made a good, strong coffee to go with the dessert. We hope to return to CC soon for another visit and are looking forward to good food and drinks at Railroad served by Bentley!

This restaurant was recommended to us by locals so we decided to try it. We sat in the back and the waitress came immediately to take our orders. The fried shrimp was very good.

This place has great staff. Service is good and food is great. My husband loved the shrimp and grits. Best he has ever had. The shrimp tacos I might try with flour tortilla next time. Corn tortillas got cold and hard. They have a good selection of wine and of course beer. I do recommend this restaurant if you are in downtown Corpus!

This is one of those places that could be amazing, but does fall short. Service was great, Ada took great care of our party, made sure all 8 of us had a very good time. The place itself is a place you would want to go to. But the food was really not prepared well and the beer could have been bought at HEB. Literally. September/October is a time of October fest but strangely they don't brew one (didn't expect when I ordered an October fest I would get a Shiner). Sadly enjoying a place that close to the coast and the fish was dry and had to get drenched in sauce to eat. I was happy the flavor was there but little else. I will say the queso with the crawfish tails was pretty darn good. Just don't think I would purposely go back.

Second time dining here recently. The first time I got the crawfish étouffée which was alright at best. I wouldn't order it again. Today I got a bowl of seafood gumbo which was delicious and the serving size is plenty to fill you up. The service both times has been good. The ambiance is relaxing and not overpowering with excessive noise so you can easily carry on a conversation.

I had only been to this place at lunchtime with my in-laws. It was good then but for dinner not so much. It didn't taste the same at night. The food was not as I remember. Onion rights were too sweet. My wife said they were sweet onions but I tasted the breading and it tasted like doughnut batter. I love onion rings but these were so sweet it was off putting. I had shrimp and the drum. The shrimp were fried but I didn't see much breading, tasted like they had been cooked a while before my order. The drum was very mild. perhaps some butter on it would have made it taste richer. Broccoli slaw looked like seaweed in a bowl and tasted old as well. Good thing they didn't screw up the rice. Usually this place is really good but tonight it was just off, especially disappointing since it was my birthday. Food was so bad I didn't even order dessert. Lots of place to go for seafood in town but this place was okay.

Don't waste your time on this place. The appetizer queso straight out of a can and very salty. Ordered Cajun grilled chicken and it was literally a chicken breast covered with shredded cheese, very small shrimp. $23. The waitress forgot our salad, our two sides of onion rings. We ordered two beers that tasted terrible and we got them 10 minutes after the appetizer. Total disappointment, my family hated it. The only thing remotely good was the chicken fried steak. I would not waste my time on this place, run from it.
