Howie's Premium Subs

Decent food, fries are good, however I have sent 2 messages via their website in the last 2 months and neither was answered.Also they have a build your own sub and we asked for an all pastrami sub and were told they don’t do that, that doesn’t make sense.

The food was awesome and a really great experience. Our sandwiches were delicious and well balanced. The service was very caring and welcoming. Just an all around good time

Food was delicious. Thank you door dash for the new local find. Sweet potato fries were good, nice n crispy with a nice cinnamon hint just not for me. I had chicken bacon ranch and unfortunately regular friends were sold out. This place was delicious. Thanks. I look forward to trying out steak on my next visit.

So i walk in to order a typical pizza . and im met with welcoming smiles and exceptional service. And a flavor bombed pizza, bake to a perfect crisp. Howie's definitely has my vote!! Can't wait to try the cauliflower next!!!

Customer service is top notch! They remember my name and the food is always fresh and delicious. I love they are local and support veterans, active military and health care workers.

The sub I had was fantastic! 10 outta 10 Highly Recommend!!!

First and foremost they are huge supporters of our military and first responders so that probably deserves 7 stars!The dining area is very clean and they have a very helpful staff.I had the Italian sub but I have to admit that I wasn’t thrilled with it, I should have followed the recommendation for the chicken bacon sub.The ingredients were fresh and there was a good portion of meat but it just wasn’t a 5 star sandwich in my opinion. I’m sure this is simply personal preference, I’ll definitely come back to try others.

Great food and service! The shakes are the best in town!

Food was delicious and came out quickly. Chicken bacon ranch sub and the hero sub are very good, also both fries options are fresh and crispy. We will definitely be back to try shakes next time!

A great place to stop for a sub, pizza, salad or shake. We came at an odd time so it was slow enough for us to talk a bit with Jess, the manager. She told us a lot about the shop's namesake and all the care she puts into what they serve. In addition to a military discount, they also have discounts for first responders, nurses and teachers. A little pricier than chain sub shops but more than worth it! I had a salmon sub and Kerri Dowdy had a milkshake and both were great. VERY recommended!

Delicious sandwiches! The bread is the best...soft, fresh, with a slight crisp on the edges. I had pizza sub and I would get it again.

Daughter of the owner, was very knowledgeable of the menu, & very calm do to number of customers that came in after we did. It was our first time there & we were deciding what we wanted (they have quite a variety) it was lunch time & some customers were getting edgey. She handled it beautifully, she had everyone smiling and we all got our meals in a short amount of time. Not to mention the atmosphere, the pictures, and of course we can't forget "Howie" THANK YOU!!

Place is very clean, menu super easy to order from and extensive, staff very friendly and attentive, but most of all the food was delicious! Place is locally owned! Highly recommend you check them out and support small/local business! Subs and pizza are bomb. I had no room for a shake but regret not getting it because I'm craving something sweet now. Lol

Nice little mom and pop shop. I ordered the chicken sandwich with ghost pepper sauce, which wasn’t hot at all. I have a high tolerance for spicy food. The sandwich was great and the bread was toasty. The fries were awesome. The staff there was super friendly, made us feel good. Will definitely go back to try other items on their menu.

Hands down best sub I've had in Corpus! I got the chicken bacon sub and my mom got the hero, both were superb. Fries are solid, better than most places, they're fresh, crispy, and salted just right. The store is clean and the staff is extremely friendly. There was a bit of a wait but the place was busy which explains the wait to me, and well worth the wait in my opinion. Will definitely be back.
