Overall this place is outstanding. This place is a local favorite has been around for many years. Started in a old building then build a new one from the ground up. All there food is great from Breakfast to lunch,
Friendly service by Julio himself, and the girls that are walking around cleaning and helping with bringing the orders. Chicken fried steak plate was great. Chalupa was good. The Julio Burger was good. Did not like the crispy taco the ground beef was too dry. Hot sauce was very spicy made my nose run. That is a good thing, spicy hot sauce is always good.
The shop staff and owner are incredibly friendly and accommodating to our large family. We went in and felt like we were at home. No judgement and no frills. Just good home cooked eats with lots of flavor, crisp, and freshness.
We recommend everything the menu has and it is not far from the highway. Just two minutes from I-37/ 385 as you head south to Padre Island.
