At the end everything was great, we had an excellent waitress. The steak I ordered wasn't cooked the way I wanted it the first time and I hate sending it back... but had to, it was too raw. But overall good when they fixed the issue.
I had the fried catfish platter with fried okra. My coworker ordered fried catfish with macaroni and cheese. Unfortunately, the catfish was overcooked (mushy), and the macaroni and cheese was kind of dry. The fried okra was great, the service was great, and the drinks (fruit punch) were amazing. All in all it wasn’t inedible, but it wasn’t up to standard. I would go back and try another menu item.
I don’t usually leave reviews, but this one warrants it. My family and I went here to eat and we almost immediately noticed the questionable service. When we were brought our water in a pitcher, the pitcher was yellowed and didn’t look clean (picture attached). The server was nice, but we had to get up several times to ask about the wait on our food and to request new plates (ours were covered in mashed potatoes from someone else’s order). We also had to ask for the ice...
