I've got food here before and thought it was *pretty good*. Just recently today for lunch I got three soft shredded chicken tacos and an order of their table salsa to-go, and it wasn't bad? But it was strange. My tacos had a sweet flavor to it which was slightly off-putting. My brother order the flautas and said they were mid at best, he said the rice was gross, I tried it and agreed. The table salsa is pretty hot, but again tastes super weird. We're from San Antonio...
i loved this place as a kid. i’ve gone once every few years since, as i don’t live close by anymore. yesterday i called in a pickup order, and went through the drive thru to pickup. i waited for over 10 minutes despite several people noticing my car at the window. i was never greeted. i finally called the restaurant asking to be acknowledged by anyone, just for them to tell me i’m not allowed to pick up my order in the drive thru. they told me this on the phone as i stared...
The service was poor. The food was ok. The atmosphere was pleasant. The food portions are large. The prices are great. How they managed to get away with their bathrooms as they are is beyond me. You can literally sit on the toilet and wash your hands without reaching. Handicapped accessible??? ONLY if it’s a child. Don’t bother looking for paper towels after you wash your hands, they’re OUTSIDE of the restroom. I’ve lived in Corpus my entire life and heard great things...
