Mac's Barbecue #Fore!

The brisket was very bland, dry, and tough with a lot of fat and no flavor at all. Also my sandwich barely had two puny strips of meat.

Came here for lunch and was super excited to try a BBQ place I haven’t been to. Not the best food to say the least. Sausage was pretty dry. Green beans didn’t have any seasonings and tasted like canned. The Cole slaw was decent. The ladies behind the counter were super sweet though.

I'm still laughing at the lady who gave Mac's two stars because "we got sick", but gave Taco Bell 5 stars ?
Been going there since 2009 I think. Never a problem.
Some people think that unless the restaurant makes green beans and mac and cheese just like their grandma, that it's not good food. Get real, nobody wants your recipe.
I used to go to Mac's in Aransas Pass, just as good.

Very friendly staff. They offer a discount to teachers (10%), so that was awesome! Much appreciated care to those who serve the community that are often forgotten.

The food was good. Decor is western/golf themed.

Really wanted to like this place as I stumbled across them by chance, but at the end of the day, it just wasn't very good. Beef ribs were a but dry and more bone than meat, and the corn didn't taste very well. They have a pretty good size menu, so it may be worth a look for those interested in bbq.

Excellent brisket with light smoke flavor. Other meats available, as well as brisket taco and other smaller dishes. Special side is sausage gumbo; it's spicy! Cafeteria style ordering. Staff always smiling. I liked when the music was the blues, but classic rock is okay, too, as never loud.

Parking: Own parking lot in front.

Brisket was so dry and looked like 2nd day reheated. Gumbo was less like gumbo and more like chili soup. Jalapeno sausage was just ok.

This place serves some amazing food! The poor boy was filled with sausage, brisket and pulled pork! (Drooling) it was so good! Added the jalapeño and sides! Thank you for the chicken salad! It was so good! We will come back on our next coast visit.

We got sick

Friendly staff and the food was decent. Enjoyed the ease of ordering and seeing the full plate put together right in front of you. There is also a drive-thru option if not wanting to dine in.

The beef ribs and bbq sauce are great! The green beans unfortunately were not seasoned, I suggest cooking them with some onion, garlic or bacon! Yum!! The Mac and cheese tasted just like plain elbow pasta I would go back but just get meat, no sides. The staff were absolutely amazing!

Me and my husband tried this place for the first time on Sunday and they did not disappoint the brisket was so good tender melted like butter we also love the potato salad they were out of beef ribs and they were out of chicken so we will be going back this weekend to try the chicken ! My hubby also liked the salad dressing it was light he said but tasty ?oh and the smoked turkey was good too !
