Best Bloody Mary's on the island. Great place. Friendly staff, excellent food. The wait (the service is a little slow) may take a little time, but it's not because they're not working hard. Excellence just takes time. A definite spot to enjoy some Bloody Mary's, mussels in their spicy tangle tomato sauce, and great atmosphere on the patio.

First visit. Ordered empanadita and sliders. Sliders meat looked and tasted like it was microwaved and the meat in empanada was bland with what appeared a blended texture, have had many great empanadas before, I could not stomach it. The staff were great and listened to my candid opinion. Nice venue, great place for drinks but food in my opinion needs improvement. Also ordered some chips. They were stale and inedible. They are a new venue, hope they listen to feedback and improve. I will wait awhile to go back.

Loved Merida’s food, they just need more help…Done plenty of tapas before, know it’s a casual eating experience, and great to have this option on NPI! But, please find more servers!First, Samantha was great…cheerful, bright, friendly and knowledgeable (5?). Bar served up a great Latin old-fashioned with Bulleitt ? and kitchen sent salad/hot tapas quickly, but folks kept coming in and the staff (2 servers/hostesses + 2 bartenders) was overwhelmed. My Coles de Bruselas Afeitadas (Brussel sprout salad) was fresh and crispy and the Gambas al Ajillo (shrimp in spicy garlic sauce) was wonderful, but didn’t come with the pan rustico listed on the menu (got charged $2 for side bread when requested) which is an absolute must for the wonderful sauce.Overall a pleasant Dining experience. A new server was being trained while there, but they will need more help, even just to fill water glasses. Menu prices should be able to accommodate more staff.Gonna give it ONE more try and hope kinks are worked out because food is so good.Otherwise, just gonna have to plan on a looong Spanish afternoon, which can be sometimes be a challenge, even on the Island ?Wheelchair accessibility: Multiple Handicap spaces by front door, but be careful of the lip at the landing, saw several people stub toes even with the yellow paint

This was a really tasty restaurant. French fries and jalapeno roll on the burger were amazing! Yucca fries could have been thinner and crispier, and the meatball sandwich was flavorful, but the meatballs came disassembled...which was unexpected. The kitchen staff came to check on our table multiple times which was nice but also a bit unexpected.

The food was excellent.. the waitress could not remember our orders at all. Everything was an “oh I thought you said…” and we had to ask multiple time for drinks, corrected food and even for our check.

Not a fan. Will not recommend or go back. Husband ordered Puerto Rican sandwich. Edible. I ordered traditional Paella with chicken and Spanish chorizo (it's not Spanish chorizo, more like cheap sausage). The rice was more sticky rice. Like Taiwanese sticky rice. It was not fluffy or not the texture of what traditional Paella should be. If ingredients says Spanish chorizo, put Spanish chorizo. Not all diners are ignorant. The yucca fries was good. The Paella was returned and not consumed. They didn't charge us for it. The overall food experience was disappointing.

Just about all the food was amazing, the fried fish was the only thing that wasn’t. Atmosphere is good, service is also pretty good overall.

Terrible food. Waitress was rude and was terrible. Payed three hundred dollars for a party of 5 to eat a lackluster small dinner. They rushed us out of the restaurant right after we got our food and told us we couldn’t order anymore at 8:00. Rude to my children too.

We've been three times now before we reviewed- highly recommend. Our go to is the Cacio de Pepe flatbread with chicken, the coconut curry mussels- and the Albondigas. Their coconut AND jalapeño margaritas are our favorite. Great patio. Service levels can vary but the servers are always kind, courteous and are trying really hard. IT's spring break and even when it's not it's really hard to get help. Support your local restaurants or they'll be gone. Their bar menu is outstanding and as are their craft cocktails . Keep up the good work Meridas!

I am sad to provide a poor rating, as we need good restaurants on north padre. But unless this improves it will not be in business long. 1. Started with trying to make a reservation- phone system says to go to web site. Which I did and never found anything on Web site. So I let the phone ring until someone answered. They ask if the reservation was for special purpose. I said yes for my friends birthday. 2. We arrived and I repeated it was for a birthday. Nothing special ever occurred. So why even ask. 2. We sat outside. So we could hear and enjoy the company. 3. We ordered drinks. 4 of them. 4. We ordered a Tapas for the table to share. 6. We received one persons drink. 7. 30 min later we ordered food, as we were talking. 8. One person in our group ask for his drink and we mentioned we were still missing 2 drinks. The soda for the one person then came to our table. 9. Waitress came out and said our food should be coming out soon. We once again ask for the other two drinks. 10. Our drinks came out 10 min later. 11. Our main courses came out. Still no tapas, so we ask about it. 5 min later our tapas came. 12. The birthday individual ordered the shrimp Caesar salad and said it was the worst Caesar salad he has ever had. 13. I ordered the beef Gorgonzola flat bread that was supposed to have arugula on it. Had 0 arugula. Taste was ok, and I took arugula from the tapas and personally added it and the flat bread was better. 14. The other two people that were with us also found the service to be poor and the food to not be stellar. 15. Nothing ever occurred for the birthday

The brunch was fantastic, and as you can see, the shrimp, eggs, and grits meal was spectacular! We all loved our meals! The service was prompt and almost too prompt as it felt a little like we were being hurried out. That was not the intention, but just a note. Definitely will be making this a regular spot!

We love this place. Chef Gail's attention to detail is impressive ? ? No dish comes out of that kitchen unless it meets her approval, period! Everything we've had has been spectacular ✨️
