I ain’t a fan of bbq, but Mesquite BBQ is the only bbq that I would travel from Houston to eat. The brisket sandwiches are top tier. Had menudo this morning and came back for seconds. Highly recommend for anybody in Texas to come check them out and show them some love.

GREAT BBQ is hard to find, but your in luck if you EVER have a chance to eat here !! WOWZA Gordo and his friendly team absolutely hands down has the best bbq IN THE STATE OF TEXAS!! Deliciously seasoned high quality meats smoked to absolute perfection.!!! I have bbq grease on my fingers as I type this... but my review couldn't wait ... I've tried plenty of BBQ places out but I can say out of all the places I've tried Mesquite House was my favorite one. The brisket was delicious but the Fajitas are my favorite from here the rice and beans were really on point service was awesome. I had homemade peach cobbler for dessert with ice cream it hit the spot.

Dry brisket, canned pinto beans. Fajitas weren't any better. Served unwarmed and rubberish. Maybe it was a bad day but will not return. There's a place uptown (Garrett's bbq) that blows this place out of the water.
