My husband and I always go the Maggie's across the street, but it was closed, so we tried the gyros here. It was really good. They aren't as generous with the lamb, so my husband ordered a second one. The server was really spunky and nice and gave us a taste of the baba ganoush because we kept saying it as we read the menu. I didn't like it, but had never tried any before so I can't speak to how it's supposed to taste, but it was very smokey and slimy š¤®. It's probably great for those who love baba ganoush. I just like saying the word, "baba ganoush". We will visit again, when Maggie's is closed. Oh yeah, the Baklava was delicious too

We had dinner at Middle East Mediterranean Restaurant and found the experience to be just okay. While the staff, who are not Muslim, assured us that the meat is halal, the food itself was underwhelming. The food looked good, but the taste didnāt live up to expectations. Unfortunately, our chicken was undercooked, and the beef lacked flavor. While itās great to have halal options in the area, the quality of the food could definitely be improved. 3/5 stars
Was excited to finally try this place out and have to honestly say it was quite the letdown. Wife and I got the Shawarma plate, the Domas with meat and a hummus wrap. Chicken was really dry, hummus had literally zero flavor, domas were plan and wet. The food tasted like absolutely nothing. It was actively bad but was justā¦..almost non existent. Was quite odd actually. We can during a time when everything looked like it was off and wrapped up (430 ish, maybe between lunch and dinner?). They advertise as āthe best gyros in townā so I intend to try those out but was shocked at how bland and lifeless the food was. Service was friendly and no issue there. Iāll give it another chance to support local though.

Dood wasn't bad but didn't taste very fresh or inspired. It filled the need of Mediterranean food, but left me wanting more. Fair prices, restaurant cleanliness left some to be desired as there were stacked dishes and clutter behind the counter. No bugs or anything bad.

First of all, this isn't a restaurant. It's a mini market: a convenience store for Mediterranean and Indian foods not normally found in the grocery stores.
I found the main things i came for at prices that were fair to both the vendor and consumer.
The only thing that i found inflated was the lentil flour: they know what's trending among the yuppies. Unfortunately for me, i want it because of health issues. At their price, i couldn't afford it in a useful quantity.
I also noticed that prices were different for the same product if labeled in English vs Sanskrit/Hindi. I'll give them that. The store is there to serve a specific population. Guess I need to study. ;)
The location is out of sight, but the food is delicious.

My wife and I love trying different foods.
We ran across the Middle East Restaurant and store a while back. We have stopped there a few times now to pick up items for a picnic. Their gyros are the best, along with the butter chicken.
As I sit writing this review, I'm snacking on a sesame bar. It is one of my favorite new snacks. Give them a try. You will enjoy the experience

We love to eat here, the butter chicken is our favorite. Selisa is so nice! The cardamon tea is also so good!

The service personnel were cordial and demonstrated a genuine passion for the culinary offerings, providing excellent recommendations. The dishes exhibited a delightful blend of flavors and freshness. The portion sizes were adequate, and the Naan garlic bread was exceptionally well-prepared. My date opted for the chicken specialty, which was both tender and expertly seasoned.

The food is really good and affordable. The staff is very friendly. They have a special each day of the week. I went on a Wednesday and the special was butter chicken. That's what I ordered, along with naan and samosas. I enjoyed everything.
