Monica's Authentic Mexican Restaurant

Very good Mexican breakfast is served here. I ordered the huevos rancheros which were very delicious. The salsa ranchera was made really well and had the perfect balance of flavor. It wasn’t too chunky or watery. The beans tasted good and the tortillas were made perfectly. The service here is phenomenal. The waitresses were quick and very attentive to their customers. This place has a nice cozy feel to it and is also very welcoming. I’ll definitely be back to try more items.

Just found this gem about 2 months ago. Worth the little wait that they have. The prices are great and the food is fantastic. Most specials they have come with a desert at the end. Atmosphere is quiet and nice.

My wife and I came to dine, based on recommendations. Living in Indiana, authentic Mexican food is non-existent. We found the food very authentic and tasty. The sampler platter that we had was reminiscent of the home cooked meals we had, while vacationing in Mexico. It always amazes me when I find a special dining spot that is affordable, clean, and has a very helpful staff. Lastly, I want to thank Monica for taking the time welcome us and treat us like family. I am from La Feria, and when I come to Corpus and I am craving Oatmeal... this is the ONLY place I come and have some.

Food was great! Pancakes are worth it. The have corn & flour tortilla chips. Very good! Coffee is better than a lot of places. Will be back again. Server was hilarious!
