My wife and daughter enjoyed the food. Myself thought the whole dished tasted the same like the same seasoning was used for rice and beans and Barbacoa tacos. Now the Mangonada was awesome. Service was great. Our table was a little sticky but overall place was clean. I would suggest give them a try. You may like it. Again service was very food and friendly and that goes along way.

We had visitors from another state to take out for dinner. My wife wanted to go to Chuy’s, I convinced them on Onthe border. Big mistake.The place was empty, I thought because of Sunday evening, and usually that is good, meant waitresses not stressed equal good service. Cook not overwhelmed means food on time and well cooked…On the contrary, service was average, food was very very substandard. My son and I ordered beef and and shrimp fajita for two. The portions were not even for one. I even asked the waitress when she brought the dish thinking that she may have gotten the order wrong. The beef portion may have been no more than 8 Oz, two tiny skewers of tiny shrimps, beef was tough, blend and full of fibrous tissue. You chew but can’t swallow it. Shrimp was rubbery and also styled. Even refried beans and rice portions were small. No guacamole or sour cream. Have to pay extra.My wife had tortilla soup and shrimp tacos. Soup was inedible period. I tasted it when she pushed it away after one sip, I thought probably she is full of it. It was inedible. None of the other 3 persons in our party were impressed with their food.And the blue lagoon Margarita, don’t order it, just don’t!We won’t be back!
