Oyshi Sushi Southside

1st time, food was ok but service was absolutely horrible. 2nd time we got it to go so the service wouldn't dilute the food experience. But got home and the plates only had meat, no vegetables or rice like the dinner plates come with and the wrong rolls. And of course, hey come back and u can grab the stuff we forgot... never again!

Very pleasantly surprised and impressed! This place has a clean, and pleasant atmosphere with good music. They have friendly, efficient and knowledgeable servers. Most importantly the food is the best I’ve had in this area in a long time. It was very fresh and well presented. We are very excited about this find ! Highly recommend the shotgun shells !

Tuna tower is my favorite at Oyshi Sushi. One of my favorite sushi places in town. I've eaten here multiple times and every time the food was excellent 👌

Thos was delicious! We got the boat for 2 plus a little. Very good and fresh. Kids lomien was also wonderful. Our waitor was awesome too. Will be back for sure

Went a solid hour before closing with one family member and unfortunately pretty disappointed:
-All drinks were warm
-Rude and impatient waiter, printed and handed us the bill as we were eating. Not attentive at all, had to flag him down from across the restaurant. Forgot two items. I get you’re trying to clock out but don’t make it so obvious…
-sushi was made with the wrong kind of rice, way too sweet and warm

For the price point just go to umiya, dokyo, take niwa, rock and rolls, etc

We ended up here after walking out of another sushi establishment which did not meet our expectations upon entry. Let's say Oyshi turned around our evening! I started with the salmon sashimi which went down like butter it was so good! My husband started with the calamari which he said was some of the best he had. I normally don't like calamari but the spicy mayo topping tempted me and I like it enough to steal a second piece. I had the Steve McQueen roll and it was amazing! The flavors were diverse and the fish eggs were the perfect finishing touch. I ate the whole roll and ordered another order of shashimi, smoked salmon this time. And again, like butter, it disappeared. My husband had the sesame chicken with fried rice and enjoyed every bite and packed the rest home. Overall, a great sushi place that made the best out of a off starting night. Will definitely return!

Tried this place with my wife and when I looked at the menu , 90% of the rolls have KRAB in it. Not that great taste. Sushi rice quality is very poor too. That was our first and last time. I wish it was a batter experience.

Good experience, the kids enjoyed watching the chefs prepare the sushi. Looking forward to our next visit.

Got mega sick from the sushi. If you want explosive shidds then eat it, if not, don’t.
