Tried to go to this restaurant tonight. This is where we usually go for pizza. We had a party of 10. When we walked in, there was a sign that the dining area was closed due to staff shortages. The guy behind the counter told us they didn't have a server available, so the dining area was closed. This particular guy never comes from behind the counter. We were there last Friday and watched Billy (great server) work his tail off to attend all of the customers. It was busy, and the guy behind the counter never tried to help him. We went to the other Pizza Hut, and they didn't have any servers, but they still took care of us, like they should for paying customers. This Pizza Hut has posted that they need customers to come in due to the lack of business and the possibility of closing, yet they constantly close the dining area. This is not the first time this has happened to us. Maybe a change in management is needed.

Been a while since we went to the Pizza Hut on 6537 South Staples in Corpus Christi. The atmosphere and service were enough to make me never return back to this establishment. There was only one older gentleman (Bill) waiting on all customers who came in as well as , getting drinks, bussing tables , and getting bar drinks because the bar area was closed with no bar tender. Bill also took your payment and tallied it and brought your receipt once you were done . No music playing , no tvs on . And this was a Friday evening ! I saw 2 different groups of people walk in and leave because the bar was closed. I watched as several people sat for an extended period of time waiting on the one waiter to get to them . Several tables were piled high with trash and food from the last people who ate but unfortunately the one guy on the floor was too busy running back and forth. You would figure at a pizza place, you would be asked if you wanted parmesan / crushed red peppers if none was already provided for you on the table but that was not the case this evening . So to not to bother Bill ,who was diligently being a one man show on the floor, I went and asked the one other employee I did see in the restaurant for parm and crushed red peppers. As he stood there doing absolutely nothing at the register since the time we got there he looks up at me and said ,"Bill can help you." He then proceeds to yell for bill while Bill waits on a family who had been sitting there for a good while waiting to be served. Instead of saying let me go grab you some, he begins yelling for bill from across the restaurant. Never once attempted to clean off a table, pass out a menu or help out and take a drink order. Just , sat there behind the counter asking people if they were dining in and asked them to seat themselves. Pizza Hut definitely needs to do some serious looking into this entire restaurant staff . Attached is a photo of the guy that should definitely loose his job for not helping.

Good food, good service, and ice cold beer. This is a pretty good sized place with plenty of seating. In the back half of the restaurant has a pool table and shuffleboard and seating as well. It was a Thursday evening, and we ordered a pizza special our friendly server had suggested when they brought our drinks. In no time our food was ready and looked appetizing. The was served hot and tasted great. We really enjoyed having our bike night there and will return.

Alittle slow to be honest but pizza usually comes out very good. Inside is nice, if you want to hang out with some friends and grab a slice, just cause they have a bar area and pool tables!

Vegetarian options: The vegetable pizza adds are great especially the juicy tomatoes. Black olives, green peppers, mushrooms excellent too. Perfect if you can eat cheese

Awesome hang out join. Nice spacious bar towards the back with free pool table and shuffle board. It looks to have daily drink specials.
