RETRO - Restaurant/Bar/Arcade/Rooftop

Ruined it... This place was a first class arcade and venue. Upstairs arcade draw was fantastic. Rooftop lounge atmosphere great. Now? You walk into a restaurant that's got random arcade machines shoved in each corner. Upstairs shut off, glass floor dark and covered. I guess it's an adults only lounge now? The menu doesn't even have snacks or bar food/starters of any type. It's a joke. It's typical Corpus Christi mismanagement. This place used to have the only true Chicago style deep dish pizza in Corpus - Today? Look at the photo. It's not right at all... Go look for yourself if you want a great laugh at poorly managed nonsense. The staff is FANTASTIC. Too bad they're dealing with this nonsense.

I see the restaurant responded below... I see their defeatist attitude and failure to read my criticism and take any of it as a need for change. You'll see the sarcasm and unprofessional attitude, this is what you can expect from this establishment I guess. The place is named RETRO. It used to be retro, and now it's not. It used to be special, and now it's just not... I guess you are making money off the club people upstairs after you kick all the kids out? Good for you. You might want to take all the old signs down that point to a better time, a time when you truly had something special. Maybe that will lower expectations for us. YOU EVEN COVERED UP THE GLASS FLOOR???? I don't understand how anyone with half a brain could think these changes are a good idea...

Fun place to grab some food and let kids play games unlimited for $10 each. We went on a Sunday and they had a special of buy 3 and get 1 free for the games wristband. Reasonable price and the kids had a great time for at least 90 minutes. The pizza and the burgers were both good. No veggies for burgers, very simple and limited menu. The beer and mixed drinks were good except the old fashioned, it was pink?!?! And it had a weird flavor. Sent it back with the waitress after one drink and requested something else entirely. The staff didn’t seem to be upset by that. Our waitress was nice but not attentive. The place was not busy and there were several waitresses who mostly chatted around the bar. El jefe was there but still service and the bar was slow. Seemed like maybe they needed more bar tenders and less waitresses. The kitchen was not slow at all though, thankfully!

They have many different pinball machines and a cool NBA game, but I sort of wish the games were all in one room. The rooftop is also nice for a good weather day!

Truly a fun place to have a drink, snack on some good food, and okay some classic arcade games! The atmosphere was great, they were wonderful to open up exclusively for us for a private party. We all had a great time!

It was a lot of fun however the rooftop band for New Year's Eve was not that good.. the DJ inside was much better

Excellent place for families or for partying with friends at night! Games are very fun and upstairs outdoor patio is a nice touch! Staff is always happy and friendly and that is refreshing. Keep up the good work!

This was an interesting concept, they have a bunch of pinball and old school arcade machines, they were currently renovating the upstairs floor so I didn’t get to experience the patio, maybe next time we’re in town it’ll be competed.. the ladies were nice and friendly..
