My friend told me to stop at rosies tamales on ayers n mcardle to buy tamales so i did. I ordered 2 doz at 12 dollars a dozen and went back to the car and me and my girlfriend started eating some on the way home and i actually asked her if the tamales she was eating have any meat in them and to my surprise she said no. Rosie's is not very accommodating. Their main location is in Robstown, Texas but they have a flagship location in Corpus Christi, TX on Ayers. I LOVE Rosie's but they need to understand they are NOT the only place that sells tamales in SOUTH TEXAS (Hello!) All I wanted was to pre-order some tamales to be ready in 3 hours and he said they don't do it. The taste of these tamales are really good! Spicy pork are really really good with just enough grease to give it that tamale feel and taste. The only thing lacking here is there are no spicy bean. If only they had that I'd give it a five-star, and at $12 a dozen they might want to consider putting a little bit more pork inside the tamales.
