My friend told me to stop at rosies tamales on ayers n mcardle to buy tamales so i did. I ordered 2 doz at 12 dollars a dozen and went back to the car and me and my girlfriend started eating some on the way home and i actually asked her if the tamales she was eating have any meat in them and to my surprise she said no. Rosie's is not very accommodating. Their main location is in Robstown, Texas but they have a flagship location in Corpus Christi, TX on Ayers. I LOVE Rosie's but they need to understand they are NOT the only place that sells tamales in SOUTH TEXAS (Hello!) All I wanted was to pre-order some tamales to be ready in 3 hours and he said they don't do it. Here today; gone TAMALE! Best tamales in town (so far). These sell out fast prior to holidays, especially Christmas. Regular pork are our favorites. Spicy are too hot. Just the perfect balance of masa & meat filling. Only tamales sold here (not a restaurant) & priced right. Sold by the dozen for pick up only.
