Tonight got me the brisket Spud and a Pulled pork sandwich. The pulled pork was.good and meat was nice and hot...but not for the spud it was a old potato dark in color inside and had to spoon it out, the brisket was cold as well.. didnt eat it, but my dog gave it a 5 star rating.Glad I have choices. Won't be going back for the food...

Everything was absolutely perfect with our dining experience at Salty Oak BBQ. I highly recommend everyone check this place out you won't regret it. I've eaten at some of the top BBQ joints in Texas and this place is definitely up there with them. Especially the Ribs and Brisket, everyone needs to check this place out.

Nasty place filled with nasty people. I thought we’d be heading out to have a great night, but it was ruined by the food and wait staff of this place. I’ll never eat here again and I hope no one else has to endure this place.

Rediscovered a hidden gem yesterday. I work in medical administration and we had a party catered by the salty oak some months back. I had a craving for barbecue yesterday and after finding the place I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly and attentive, in fact, the owner himself took the time to chat with the missus and I despite being incredibly busy. The servings were generous and yet I still ordered an extra helping to take home. The brisket was tender, juicy, and melted in my mouth. The chicken was amazing had a little kick to it. Oh and tacos, the pulled pork was simply outta this world. The coleslaw added a contrast that was unexpected and welcomed. I washed it all down with a few frosty brews and my wife practically had to drag me out of the place. I can't wait to go back!

The worst dried out chicken we ever had. The brisket was chewy and tough. My 3 yr old granddaughter could not chew

First of all, let me comment on how great our server was. She knew the menu, was very attentive, answered our questions and gave us a Outstanding recommendations. Overall, the environment was clean, open and fresh. The food was quickly served, and it was hot and extremely good. The barbecue was outstanding. I had their three plate meat, combo with brisket, jalapeño cheese, sausage, and pulled pork. Their corn was surprisingly , good as when they first served it the word good didn't come to mine right away. LOL Overall the environment was pleasant to eat in. Allowed us to talk among our group. I highly recommend this place if you're in town and you want an atmosphere that's clean food that's good at a reasonable price.

This BBQ restaurant is quite a mixed bag. The cool layout and good drinks are a definite plus, but the inconsistent quality can be frustrating. Moreover, the prices are often on the steep side for what you might get. What's really disappointing is that some of the items you come for might not be available. Three stars for this hit-or-miss spot.

Far too much fat in the brisket. The brisket sandwich was $12.95. The bun had been toasted. That was tasty. The sides were extra. Service was fantastic. The ambiance was inviting. Just too much fat in the brisket.

Sorry to say my first time here and I won't come again. Bake potato was cold.. grilled chicken was super dry. Then you are charged tip automatically even if you are paying for separate bills if more than 5 people sit together.

So first I want to say that the main reason we came is because of the reviews about the Mac and cheese, I love a good Mac and cheese so I was pretty excited. The waitress came and told us what they didn't have today, I ended up ordering the pulled pork sandwich with a side of Mac and cheese. Paid extra for pickles. Hubby got the brisket Mac and cheese sliders with a side of fries.Food comes pretty quick, looks good. First bite, a huge let down. Mac and cheese is freaking cold. Not even warm. I honestly don't know what the fuss was all about. I didn't even get any of that awesome crust, Chick fil a has better Mac and cheese. Hubby said the sliders were just ok, that he's had worse. Those waffle fries though, so good!! But I definitely won't be back for some fries. Huge miss today.

I laughed when I saw how small the chopped brisket sandwich was. 1/10 restrooms. The toilets were covered in poop in both stalls.
