This morning I stop to get breakfast trough drive trough i start ordering and lady from window refuse to take my order because I don't speak Spanish. I ask for somebody English speaking she refuse again. So I left. DISCRIMINATION ALL THE WAY .

Hidden gem, best breakfast place in Corpus in my opinion. My go to order is machacado and egg a la mexicana taco, a chorizo and potato taco, and an horchata. The horchata is 10/10.

I did not eat at the restaurant although did place an order through door dash. I had the cheese.enchiladas which were good the sides were a little blah. Not a huge fan beans not sure if it's chorizo or Chile Colorado but they were not great. My mom had a fajita quesadilla which she enjoyed and the stuffing of cheese and meat was very generous. She as well did not like the rice or beans. My father had a chicken fajita taco which he said the chicken was very good. I also ordered some bean and cheese nachos which were quite soggy although the cheese used is very good. All in all for it being my first time the experience was ok but nothing wow. I think if they would improve on the rice and just cook the beans in lard or bacon fat they would be get a much better score. Packaging was well done and generous with napkins. All in all a 4 outta 5. I'm sure the fajita platters are very good based on the photos. Sorry no photos we were starving.

I will tell you why I love this place. First, seating is usually open and available. Second, the place is clean and especially the restroom smells like bleach and visually very clean. Third the wait people are very nice and gracious. Fourth the food is very good, as well as the quietness and not having to speak loud at the table. It's a quiet cozy spot. Plus the food is very good. I recommend it. Next time I go there I hope to remember to take a picture of the food before I devour it. That's how good it was for me
It's a bit out of the way but so is that balloon place and the wait and noise level aren't worth it for me. So if you get a chance go by and let me know how El mariachi was for you. See ya guys take care bye for now.
